| Good for Yobuko getting a W |
| That was a very nice battle chapter; probably my favorite fight in the series so far, in fact. This is the first time we get to see Yobuko in a fight where blows are exchanged. Her moveset is quite versatile, just like Osoegawa, making for a very fun battle. I probably enjoyed this fight so much because its energy felt very The Mage Next Door-ish. The comedy or the goofiness was seamlessly interspersed with the battle, neither dragging the pacing or making it awkwardly jumpy. Can't wait to see Osoegawa going up against Idokura next chapter. This chapter just raised the bar for a good The Mage Next Door fight; hopefully that will continue to be the case. |
