| Why there are so many new accounts with just 1-3 posts? I've checked many topics inside this forum and almost all new users got first post in this forum of frieren second season and rate it 10/10 ofcourse and post is "best anime bla bla bla" It is not possible that a fan would type his first post on 2nd season and not make a single post on the first season! some of these accounts have either completed almost no animes and has some fake watching list some were created recently some longer but their anime list and posts are empty it looks like mass fake accounts and organised action to pump up the rank of frieren 2nd season can admins look into it? looks like chinese bot they do the same on X or social platforms |

| You've been on MAL since 2014. How is this news to you? Oh you're pretending this is just Frieren thing. Ok... Bot accounts should be purged. As far as I know bot account scores are not counted since the infamous "ishuzoku reviewers" score manipulation incident. What's interesting though is how bait threads are often made by exactly same type of accounts. Almost no comments in threads, no profile pic, hidden list or few 1/10 - 10/10 scores, no profile comments allowed etc. Why not PM one of the mods though, instead of making this thread? |

On threads with 300+ replies, how many bots do you think you can find? it should be at least 1/4, so ~70 per thread going by what you've said: "so many" of them. Or how about addressing the fact that bot scores already don't count? You've "wasted so much time" already, but it truly becomes too much when it's about just naming some of the many profiles you looked for and verified.... oki dude |
| Pretty sure a lot people on this site don't actively use the forums, just track animes and communicate through profile boards. They can still make few forum posts though. I've seen that happen a lot. For the new accoutns, that also happens. Very few people are frequent users. Some creates new acc, makes few post on the current seasonal anime and dip. Pretty common find. |

You linking the thread and saying "trust me bro there's at least 10 posts in that page that are bots" doesn't prove anything. I don't even know who you are referring to. Just name 5 of them and let's get to the bottom of this. well, i mean, after that you can tell me what you think about the fact that botted account's scores don't count on MAL, which means this whole cope thread is meaningless even if you found a remotely significant amount of bots posting on threads for some reason... your call. |
