| Xylo and Teoritta getting the chance to work with Patausche took a twist. Teoritta getting pissed at Jayce was amusing. Same with Xylo getting jealous at Frenci. Didn't take long for violence to break through. I knew this episode wouldn't feel right after being in such a cherry mood. Jayce is also quite useful despite how he looks and acts. |

| A demon lord in human form, the heretics, and the coexisters, the plot is thick indeed. Xylo got a fiance?! jealous Kivia incoming? Jayce and Neely are finally here with wonderful air support and more importantly the ever curious Teoritta and blushing Kivia.  |
| Oh, the appearance of Xylo's official wife, who seems to be his ex, but she fundamentally disagrees with this, and you clearly can't say no to such a lady, although Kivia is also good, and the episode is magnificent. |

Poor military girl "dressed like a man", yeah because guys open the top buttons of their shirts to show their cleavage...Oh boy yet another type of super powered being with yet another allegiance different than the ones we have been shown until now. As if the political situation wasn't muddied enough. Dragon guy would be cool if he wasn't such a dick. They should rename this "Everyone Hates Xylo". |
| Pretty interesting episode. The foes only get more and more human-like, and the new allies are nice to see. Xylo failing to compliment Kivia made me pity her. It instantly sapping the blush from her face was quite a sight. Boojum kicking up the ground to block Xylo's exploding blade was epic. If he's indeed the demon lord Spriggan, at least Xylo's group were able to meet him rather quickly. I'm also curious to know why a skilled adventurer like Shiji Bau is going around attempting a goddess assassination. This heretic faction certainly has some interesting figures in it. This sightseeing goddess protection mission is looking to be a challenge! |

| Nice episode as always. I love when Teoritta gets upset when they’re unrespectful to her or Xylo lmao. Bro got a fiancee? It’s no wonder though, he was a Holy Knight Captain. I like her, nice design, good personality. I loved how Kivia was blushing and then looked at him like “Who the fuck are you?” Seeing Teoritta happy makes me happy. These dudes were so strong, after seeing them battle I guess it’s obvious he is the demon disguising itself as a human. This dragon guy is so weird. |
| Volume 2 off to a great start. I can’t help but feel the similarities between this arc and Re:Zero’s water city arc. Fighting enemies in a cramped urban environment, maritime setting, Kivia already showing signs of growing closer to Xylo like we saw Subaru and previous rivals getting closer in that arc, shapeshifting enemy, etc. it looks like it’ll have the same level of violence as well. I’m hype. Xylo’s fiance Frenci is such a fun character already, I hope they have an opportunity to get back together. It does seem like he truly cares for her, just doesn’t see himself as worthy because of the whole sentence thing. Kivia Xylo and Teoritta look like such a happy family lol. The way Kivia smiles at Xylo spoiling Teoritta while shopping was really cute! I kinda get Sagiri x Gabimaru vibes from them. Would be cool if they develop a genuine special bond after everything they’ve been through As soon as buddy knocked dude’s jaw off and didn’t understand why that was an issue, I knew he wasn’t human as he lacked basic empathy. He also said he was new to this business. Is he actually spriggan tho or are their multiple demon blights in town.. the fight in the alley was really well animated, one of the best of the show far too. Cannot wait to see what the rest of the arc has in store. Jayce having a thing for his dragon is.. WEIRD. |

| All these people coming in and out of Xylo's hospital room, it's like a conveyor belt of exposition. Must resist the urge to double-speed! Even more new faces for the cast, including Xylo's fiancee, and Tyrannosaur is once again in desperate need of some duct tape. Harem count is now up to three. I did like the Middle Eastern-looking port town as a setting. |

| Yep called it, Frenci is Xylo's fiancée. Love her. Totally the type of woman I like. Haven't heard Oonishi Saori doing this kind of voice before but sounds great. Teoritta getting visibly jealous was hilarious. Xylo's sure popular. Though he has no tact. Dressed like a man lol, poor Kivia. So Boojum is Spriggan. Shiji Bau's op. So is Jayce with Neely. That dagger Xylo threw in the sky was actually a signal for him. Btw they tried to showcase the city in Mushoku tensei style but it looked like a very common area from any fantasy setting while mushoku tensei had some really unique and grandiose landscapes. |

| Alright, that's more like it. Found this to be good, and probably the best episode since the first one in my opinion. Nice world building shown visually with some additional info this episode, good focus on letting character interactions breathe with the start of a new volume with Livia, Xylo and Teoritta, like the introduction of Jayce and Frenci's characters and their scenes a bit (particularly Frenci), and the twist with the end being a potential Spriggan and the threat they can bring on top of the action there looks good. This felt like a real Mushoku Tensei episode in some ways with how it flowed at times (especially with world-building and showing the markets and architecture/landscapes when exploring and running around the area) and it was nice to watch. I think the backgrounds for Mushoku Tensei's world building had more details and uniqueness to it but this is still good, and more of what I want to see. Not just generic town that need to be protected. With allies of the Demon Blight being disguised well and threatening, hopefully this volume can play out with more interest than the first one did. Kivia I initially felt was more of someone that can play out to be a platonic-friend/ally to Xylo in the endgame but there have been some subtle teases more often than not about her feeling differently towards him based on looking out for him with mild jealousy during the Frenci conversation as well as Xylo's comments of her dressing like a man well for the disguise. Who knows how that will turn out. |

I do like that the ex fiancée is still willing to marry Xylo despite him being a hero but not sure of the implications that could have; at least they would be an instant family with 'daughter' Teoritta 😛 Regarding that monster at the end that Teoritta didn't feel resistant to attacking, yeah he definitely could be demon lord Spriggan as not only is he freakishly strong but he was able to withstand the flames from Jayce's dragon, wow. |
| Xylo’s (ex) fiancée having clear Arabic/Egyptian inspired features pretty much confirms that Xylo himself is modeled after traits from the Arabian Peninsula. I had always wondered why the MC’s skin complexion was noticeably darker compared to the rest of the cast. The only character who comes close is Tatsuya, but in his case, his skin tone deteriorated due to the repeated resurrections. Plus, “Tatsuya” is an unmistakably Japanese name, and since he’s isekai’d, it’s likely his original appearance was fairer. On another note, I’m genuinely happy that Xylo’s (ex) fiancée is doing everything she can to seek a pardon for him. It adds emotional depth to the story reminding us that even condemned heroes in this god forsaken system are still human in the eyes of those who love them. (cuz seriously.. the entire hero system in this universe is seriously messed up.) Also… more Kivia blushing, please. Let’s gooo! |
| Great ep Jayce is quite the interesting character. Kinda reminds me of Hiccup and Toothless from HTTYD. Xylo's got a nun for a fiancee. Pretty cool. Sadly, Frenci a funny character despite not trying to. Ah yes, more Kivia blushworks and lovely moments of Xylo and Teoritta. Love how we went from 0-10, so quickly with those assassins. SB and Boofum/Spriggan are a pretty cool duo. Bro really destroyed his jaw within a swipe. Clutch save by Jayce and Neely. That one shot of Boofum in the fire reminds me of Fate/Apocrypha for sum reason. 9.5/10 |

Is it just me or the crazy muted hero name Tatsuya is an isekai person from Japan, and back in his normal day he probably has an "isekai protagonist" face.

| This was quite an interesting episode. First of all, we got introduced to one more hero: Jayce. As the rest of the heroes, Jayce is an odd individual, and has a questionable relationship with a Dragon... We'll need to see more of him to see more of his personality, but it seems he doesn't care much about humans, but he isn't like Tsav. Also, by the end of the episode, we can see that he's quite powerful with his dragon Nelly, being able to help Xylo and the others against that demon blight that was disguised as human. We also got the confirmation that the army that Venetim asked for help in the last episode really is the army lead by Xylo's ex fiancé. Honestly, she seems to be quite an interesting character, and I'm really curious to see more of her in the next episodes! Someone that didn't really like her appearance was Kivia though... Xylo she was looking good in that outfit, as a man... Xylo, you fumbled bad there. Anyways, exploring the dynamics between the group was really nice once again. It's funny how the best episodes of the anime so far have been the ones where they explore more this part. It's funny how the most "decent" hero to take as a bodyguard in this mission was Tsav, out of all of them xD This new arc is looking promising with that Demon Blight infiltrated as a human, and it seems he's knowledgeable about Xylo, which begs the question if Demon Blights can communicate between themselves, and that's why it knows about Xylo. The fight scenes for this episode looked really cool, and as I said, Jayce's entrance at the end was really cool too, but the Demon Blight not being burned to death showed that it isn't going to be easy to defeat it. | @MewsicMagic I hope it isnt a isekai person, that would ruin it for me lol. It could be just someone from a diferent culture, for example, the city "we" are in right now, is more North African or southern Iberian in culture. He could come from a place that has Japanese inspired culture. This is one of my favorite episode of the show, if not the favorite, it has everything. Characters boundings, lighthearted moments, more interesting characters and to me, the kicker, human vs human fights (or what it seems human) instead of the fighting monsters/zombies. Loved this episode, completely sold to the series. |
