Anime/Manga/Novel Difference

I wanted to know if there are any readers of the novel here. While reading the manga, I noticed that the anime's storyline is out of order. I wanted to know if the novel follows the same order as the anime or if that's something the anime director did.

Yes, the ln order (of what the anime covers) is Ghost House-> Candle Woods-> Scrap Building-> Golden Bath. They probably left Candle Woods as the last game for being the most important or shocking
