| Scenes like the one at the start remind me how passionate the staff are about this anime. They even added an anime-original scene and animated it beautifully. You can really feel the care put into this show. The whole episode felt more polished than usual, especially the storyboards. It was nice seeing assistant director Daiki Harashina doing great work. It fits well too. After the first few episodes of usual Frieren shenanigans, we’re finally building toward a proper arc, even if it’s a short one. It’s nice seeing old characters return instead of being forgotten after their arc. We saw Wirbel before, but only briefly, so I’m glad these characters are getting a full arc now. I’m excited to see the group fight next episode, and I hope it looks just as polished or even better. |

| Still disappointed they’re splitting season 2 up like this (10 eps instead of a big 24 episode) one like last season. This arc with Methode and Genau is cool and all, but I don’t wanna wait too long to see the best Frieren antagonist.. solid start to this arc, no action, but still very engaging because Genau is such an interesting character. Good to see Methode as well. I love how she teases Frieren by calling serie cute lol. “ Unlike us, the people of this village didn’t choose to fight.” Really just reinforces how horrible the world of Frieren is. You have so many innocent people with hopes and dreams just getting their lives cut short on the whims of a demon who didn’t even want to eat them. He just took them out for the sake of it. They deserve justice. Even if Genau claims to not have an attachment to the village, he clearly does, it was his home for better or worse and that demon will pay. It’s so dope how they were able to deduce the demon had four blades just from the cuts on the bodies. Now the hard part, how to find this demon? |

| Intense start and it looks like the next enemy will be a tough one. It's nice to see a few old faces tho. Anyway the group needs to do something about the food situation since that bread doesn't seem good for your teeth. |

| WHY DOES TIME FLY SO FAST EVERY EPISODE?? /insert Frieren throwing tantrums That was an incredible episode, the opening scene alone was enough to show good this arc is gonna be, I can't wait for next week! It's nice to see Genau have his moment (and also Methode!), you can really feel the pain and regret he's dealing with, even more when Frieren herself thought he was a demon for that bloodlust, this was really sad to see. As for his magic, it's pretty cool, he got crow familiars and doesn't he have wings? (if i remember correctly from the silhouette in exam 1 arc), then his magic bullets that appears on both hands– I wonder if that is some kind of Zoltraak? I absolutely love how they were able to get informations and identify what kind of enemy they will be dealing with using Methode's autopsy spell and the cross-reference with Stark (a warrior)'s fighting knowledge, may be a small detail for others but wow that was amazing! Got me so intrigued. And then there's the whole philosophy about the burying of the dead... it's painful to realize that as of now, the only way the people who died in their hometowns can rest (there) is by burning their corpses in there. Next Friday please come sooner! |

| Interesting how Frieren could sense Genau's bloodlust despite his cold demeanor. He must really have a lot of pent-up anger and some history with this demon that just laid ruin to his hometown. |

| Those bricks sounded... Tasty. What kind of teeth do these people have? This is the second time we see Methode liking cute things, like Fern being hungry, or Fern pouting after Methode liked a tiny, cute elf. A wild Goro appears. And Frieren will most likely say "Fatality" in the near future. |

| Methode mommy is bacccc, Fern got jealous again. lmaooo and here,   the one with better mana concealment is Fern right? it's difficult to tell who's who because Frieren appeared out of the direction the of the silhouette where the better mana concealment was from. i was like dual sword style? huh Zoro does better... then quad sword style mentioned. FAAAAAAA and Frieren mentioned that the captain was far stronger than stark. if she's actually scaling starks strength and not like stark himself that demon is lot of trouble. feel bad for Genou tho |

| Frieren is finally back! That 1 week break felt way longer than it should've. And Methode is also back! Never thought she'd make a return. But I guess it makes sense cause she's now a 1st class mage. I guess we'll see the other characters from Season 1 at some point in the future too. This episode felt much slower-paced than usual. But it was still really good. It still felt like it ended way too fast. Man. This new arc with another demon is exciting. Can't wait to see the last 4 episodes. |

| Decent episode, albeit a sad one. The baker's son was so terrified he trembled in fear of the demons. Rest in peace to the blond baker's son, Genau's childhood friend. I hope Frieren's party and Serie's party treat the demons PRECISELY as they treated the hometown of Genau and the baker's son. That aside, I do have one question. How precisely did the letter go not just from the pigeon to Frieren, but from the pigeon to the rabbit and then to Frieren? I ain't ignorant or illiterate, I know how pigeon messaging works, but a rabbit? How did it pass from pigeon to rabbit to Frieren? What the eff? |
