I feel as if Chobits predicted what may become society in the near future with AI. Japan's birthrate is constantly decreasing, and with the invention of humanoid androids, people might just settle with those instead of other humans. Obviously the bad thing about this is that birthrate world-wide will start to decrease and normal relationships will cease to exist. Chobits was way ahead of its time in predicting this, but then again maybe this won't happen. |
