| I have been out of the forum circuit for years. Whatever, don't care if my linking is inappropriate, assuming it is. How about that painting of Isaac Asimov seated in a throne? However i will neither Gimp or PS anything being as lazy as I am. Finals are coming up anyway, I've got more *important* things to be doing. http://images.suite101.com/2499357_com_isaac_asim.jpg As for science fiction, how about a discussion of the difference between Stanislaw Lem's novel "Solaris," Andrei Tarkovsky's 1972 movie adaptation, and Soderbergh's 2002 version. All i can say is each iteration got worse and worse. And the new American one blew chunks. |

| Sf movies... oh this is my favourite genre <3 I don't really have a list of best movies but I can name a few that I enjoyed more and I personally think are epic: 2001 A Space Odyssey -> Fav. Kubrick movie Metropolis -> Fav black and white SF and one of the best movies ever made imo Aliens (I like more the second one than the first). Brazil Moon Stalker Honorable mention to the old SW movies :) I didn't like Blade Runner and I am surprised it has such great reviews. |
