What Do You Think of the Dub?
| I have to update this now.. Episodes 1-4 has been uploaded onto FUNimation's channel at Youtube. So yes, better sound. I will not provide I link.. I'm not in the mood to go back and listen to how bad it is, nor do I want to bother (because I am not too good with links). You will have to hunt it down yourselves. I will however say this. When you watch for the first time, its okay to let your emotions get in the way, but re-watch again and put aside your feelings for the series and allow that rational (or critic) to come out, your ears to open up and actually listen to the dubbing. Ciel's sounds like a grown woman with a gruff side. Sebastian sounds like an old man with a nasal problem. Finnian.. well I didn't know they were getting Mickey Mouse to play him. Bard shouldn't have an accent, which reminds me that the accents don't sound right, especially with Ciel and Sebastian, and are easy to tell as fake. Even my friends in the UK think it is horrible. Undertaker has lost some of his awsomeness by sounding like a pirate.. and so many other wrongs. You'd think that they could have at least done a medicore job, but they did a poor job of it. None of them actually bothered to get into the character and concentrated on something else.. which made it worse. I agree with a friend that they should have gotten the right actors or they shouldn't have dubbed it at all. It makes me so glad I chewed out Brina and Tantum on myspace. Its just wrong, and if you were in Ciel and Sebatian's place you'd see it as a joke.. (seriously.. Ciel doesn't like being made fun of, and I am sure Sebastian wouldn't apperciate sounding like an old man.. Though they both would tease each other for the other's bad english VA.) I just.. God I have no words to discrib how really bad it is. Seriously, you don't want to get something that you'll hate later on and it turns out a waste of money. No kidding, the dub costs 48.99 for pre-order and 64.59 for regular price (or something close to both those.).) |

| Apperantly, it was taken down by youtube and the user banned. I swear they are so ridiculous sometimes. Anyway, you weren't really missing much other than Ciel and Sebastian's horrible dubbing. It might come back later on.. who knows really. Maybe someone has the event recorded for you to listen. |

| Actually, it says the user was banned for repeated copyright issues. uploading series episodes are included in those. I've had warnings before, and know others who were banned for the very same reason. (and it makes sense since it's actually illegal to distribute series in ways such as posting it on youtube) Oh well, I wasn't looking foreward to the dubs. I stopped watching them quite a while back. I'll watch in dubs if the subs are no longer available, but if I've seen it already, I might as well wait until someone in my country decides to have it dubbed and air it. |

| Well you can get the sub version with that link DominateOne gave us.. but I think I might mention to everyone now that there is a plan in action for a petition to recast the Kuroshitsuji dub. Seeing as Tatum says that they listen to their fans, then they will listen to us wanting it recasted, correct. I already ask FUNimation about how many signatures we needed but I don't think they will answer.. Can anyone help me get an answer out of them?? I have a feeling we are going to need maybe a bit over 250,000 signatures.. but I am not sure. |

| Thanks for the link Amy (is it ok If I call you that?) Hm, it's not actually that bad. I quite liked it, to be honest. But really, so many fangirl screams... I can understand them, but it makes it harder to hear out the voices properly. >.< And yeah, it's nice to hear the accents. I don't think I would've liked it is they didn't have them. |

Clearly you have never watched Harry Potter or listen to any true british person to know better. 'smacks with a rolled up news paper' Actually pay attention, I notice that some of the the lips and the voices don't match in places... And of course most of the VAs (mostly Ciel and Sebastian's) are incorrectly place. 'sighs' A mess. A real big mess. I can't wait to see what Yana's opinion on it is.. Also it really messed up my manga reading, and I already had to correct a few people on fanfiction.net. I still can't believe Funimation picked a moron to dub Kuroshitsuji.. Why must they ruin such good anime 'shakes head'. Pathetic. |

| It was bad they made Ciel sound muffly and bleh and they didn't say Sebastian right o.e i mean really, I only bought it because I can watch the sub's I hate the dub its so bad. They dont match, and they went over board on the british accents. Bard is american my gods man. |

Did you notice the Itailan dude.. he sounded more like a combo between French and Russian instead of Itailan. Also, Sebastian sounded way too old.. and more like a plan (emotionless) butler.. 'sighs' Nothing like himself. And Ciel.. yay, you pretty much nailed Ciel on the head there. Not only that but the line changes made them seem OOC, and not so right. I mean, Sebastian calling Ciel 'sir', is so unlike him.. and Baldory.. what kind of name is that?? Oh, and lets not get started on the Undertaker.. that was just.. God awful. 'sighs' I am still wondering why the picked a moron to do the dubbing in the first place.. Money grubbers. The subs aren't too good either, but they are way better than the dub. Hearing the original voices and watching the characters come to life is a thrill that only they can do. The dub, if I had ten thumbs they would be all down. You know Minami you could have just bought the original sub version at Ioffer.com for 21 dollars, plus five dollars for shipping. Much cheaper than that boxset. |

| I only had to watch one episode to say it wasn't "Kuroshitsuji". I don't even know how to describe it right now. British English is not my native language, but I could tell that their accent wasn't even right. It was rather disappointing. |
| Thay couldn't have picked a worser voice for Sebastin. It was all WRONG. And the fake british accent was horrible. Thay could have done better. :/ |

| I love Lau, Madam Red and Grell. Everyone else is...meh. Ciel sounds like a woman. Not a girl, a woman. Which is kinda weird..-.- Sebastian is alright, though his voice could have been deeper.. Undertaker. O_____O No. Just...no. I really wanna see like, a whole episode though. I've only seen some short parts(link, anyone?). |

| I like dub. Espeically Ciel's voice. Sebastion's voice isnt amazing, but its not too bad either. Overall I think the dub is good. |
