In a ladder tournament, players are listed as if on the rungs of a ladder. The objective for a player is to reach the highest rung of the ladder.The tournament proceeds via a system of challenges. Any player can challenge a player above him or her on the ladder. If the lower-placed payer wins the match, then the two players swap places on the ladder. If the lower-placed player loses they then stay where their were on the ladder, then her or she may not challenge the same person again without challenging someone else first.
All games must be played on KGS
Time settings must be 45m with 30s per 5 moves if you do not have this time setting the challenge is then void.There will be No Handicap and komi must be 6.5 . And the go board must be a 19x19 or the game consider void!
When challenging an opponent you have 2 week grace period before you must comply with the challenge also you may not make another challenge until the two week grace period is over. IF you don't comply with the challenge then it is consider a forfeit and then you will be swapped on the ladder. Please also send a pm to the person you challenge or their profile so they know that you have challenge them this is just out of the kindness of your heart it is not mandatory.
You must enter your user name on KGS(Register users only no guests because guest games do not record on KGS) and the opponent you wish to challenge can set a time when guys will play the game you must be within the two week grace period if it surpasses it is then to late and it is consider a forfeit. You must make the challenge in this discussion and accept the challenge in this discussion.

I challenge, Name on MAL
My user name on KGS is, Name
If anyone new joins my club you automatically enter into this tournament, you will then be put at the end of the ladder.
