| Thanks, Linxnin! Age: 17 Likes: Flowers, Pranks(Nimama~) Height: I think there was a picture(mugshot) where they show her height(manga scan) but I can't remember, if anyone knows let me know. Mentality: Okay explaining her mentality is rather difficuilt as there's not so much known about her past. Saying she's a sadist is insufficient. I dig deeper. So here's my try: Her personality is smoothed out by her past. As a child your world view is different. Everything is great and fascinating, so is the mother great, as long as the child is well looked after. So was Minatsuki, she seemed to love her mother to bits so that one day when her mother abandoned her, she completly lost faith in her mother and humanity. In that moment she felt forsaken, her feeling of being protected was smashed. (someone on animesuki explained it well ->) Her sadistical actions can be explained by a rather typical psychological condition of abuse (such as sexual/physical abuse or any mentally abuse; in this case it's a mentally trauma). She seems to be most excited about the pain on the faces of her victims, if their previous expression was full of hope. When her mother was reaching out in her direction, she hoped she'd grab and help her but she wasn't, a moment she never forgot so that was burned into her mind. It's a desire of her to observe people experiencing the same sequence of smahed hope she had to experience. That's an repeating cycle of violence and abuse that is rather common among victoms of abuse. Her relationship to Yoh-kun Her brother is pretty much the exact opposite of what she's thinking about humanity and her mother. She's continuously denying his attitude and tramples around on him. She can't accept that she's wrong about humanity and doesn't give in. That hatred somewhat decreases in the manga as she seems to like her newly acquired buddies (Ganta, he helped her a lot so that's only natural and that her brother is caring for her seems to be cure in need). Her behavior in one of the latest chapters is underlining her character developement. A reaction of her that was rather unexpected when it comes to her usual behaviour. So that's it(but might add more). Will be in the layout, too, I'm rather someone who likes to be detailed. If anyone has to add more, I'd be glad. |
