| That's a lot of extended awkward humming scenes lol . I get the point though, he's finally found a friend and start to feel comfortable/normal to some degree. Well especially considering he just started to learn to pilot that mecha he did pretty damn good with his first blue fight. Got a good counter, good hit on it, managed to hook one of its eyes or something . Least he stalled it long enough for Marlene to get there and save him AGAIN |

| ROFL, the MC runs like a super wimpy geek up the boat ramp at 15:22. Hahahahaha! The guy is utterly useless. Wow. Keep humming terrible songs fella... Jesus. I'm not sure if the animators have seen anyone run before or have even done it themselves, but my god. Perhaps they really wanted to show him as being that uncoordinated? Or maybe they are just terrible at animating human movement in general? I don't know but it's damned funny sometimes. |

| The fucking humming, lmao. They're like birds chirping in the morning XD Yuji got some development in this episode, in theory. He aspires to be useful in some form, and he befriended the mechanic with blue hair through his l33t humming skillz. His combat proficiency has a long way to go, but there's 26 episodes, so there's plenty of time. |

| Yuji's finally being useful instead of just constantly cowering in fear. Like I get it, he's just a normal guy who would reasonably freak out after being put in such a nightmarish situation but at some point your survival instincts have gotta kick in. Guess all it took was the power of friendship. |

| Yuji got a little bit of a training arc this episode. Nice that he's been promoted from dame in distress to an amateur combatant against the blue! Him and Joey becoming humming buddies is a nice development. I hope they're able to get through this horrible apocalypse together. |

| Out of nowhere it turned into an episode of Cromartie LOL It was realistically awkward how at the end as he is leaving he looks at her as if about to say thanks but then he doesn't (probably because she would dutifully deny any intentions of doing so) but then she does look back as if relieved that he is in good health. |
