| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I was taken aback a little bit with Kouki's words to both Rin and Daikichi, but that doesn't erase how much of a loser he is. Who cares if you can't get married Rin, just be in his life all the time and Daikichi should allow her to do what she wants. The only way I can see a bad ending is if Daikichi becomes a total ass or marries someone else, though I see no prospective brides. I hope Rin ran back to grandpa's house or some place symbolic where Kouki can't find her. |

| Actually I would be kind of disapponted if the relationship between Rin and Daikichi changes to that direction. Regardless how many times they deny it in the manga, if Rin can call someone "father" then it's Daikichi. But I guess this is what adds a lot to the drama. |

| I'm confused. Rin still haven't completely confessed her feelings are romantic. She harvests a desire to tend to Daikichi, but it could be other kind of love, kind of like taking care of him because he's family. Kouki went too far, but he's a worried teenager and he probably feels that Rin will never say anything and Daikichi needs to find out. I'm glad Daikichi only seems Rin as his daughter though and well, I am still hoping Rin is confused *crosses fingers* Now the long wait for the last 5 chapters begin! |

| Well, it's out in the open. Can't really say much until this whole matter plays out, though. This chapter chapter proves that Kouki is an idiot, yes, but we knew that since part one. =P And now we have to wait until August while we end at this cliffhanger, unless someone provides the proper raws to /a/ Collective. =P |

| KOUKI! You bastard this is all your fault for dating that bitch in middle school! Now that I think about it, I kinda understand where Rin's feeling came from. What do you do for a guy that isn't your father but still sacrificed everything for your sake when no one wanted you? You would like to repay him, right? How? By being what he never had his soul-mate. Not knowing that Daikichi doesn't want any reward for taking care of her, in his eyes he's his beloved daughter, and what he did was his duty that's all. I hope he can make her see that and asked her to move on and if she doesn't, well he has only one good and morale option. Live with her like usual and hope when he died she'll move on. |

| This ----- is just TOOOOOO weird for me. Unfortunately, the last few chapters have killed my total joy for this Manga. Now, it's going to go down a point or two in my book *sigh* I have given it a solid 10 all this time, too. :'C But, just with Rin falling in love with Daikichi and completely leaving Kouki to have no where to go and just dumping him where he stands (when he's tried so DAMN hard to try to get their friendship into something more) and --- ugh. Also, Daikichi is the loser in here in my opinion. He was pretty darn respectable in the beginning, during the entire "Rin childhood" arc. But - not getting with Kouki's Mom, which was not his fault really, and, just ------ urgh. Sorry, Usagi Drop/Yumi Unita - I will never get over this..... |
| @bassa_x: Yeah, that definitely is true. I don't want Daikichi to end up alone, either, and I want him to have a wife in the end. But - not with freaking Rin as his wife/girlfriend/love interest/etc. It may be because I'm American, or a women, or I'm just so traditional, but - no. Why have them be together romantically? Just dosen't make sense.......well - it does, acutely, but it's just not right. And, Kouki was not an idiot in this chapter. If I was in his position, I would immediately tell Daikichi because he has a right to know that his adopted daughter romantically loves him. It's just the right thing to do. |

| Actually, this is one of the things that I like in this manga... That people are talking to each other, addressing their problems directly and honestly, instead of just let them fester away in secret until the very last moment. Characters here is reasonable and (mostly) understanding to each other!.. That's why I liked the fact that Kouki just told Daikichi everything, instead of keeping it secret!.. |

| This Kouki hate is ridiculous though. He's a good guy. He always reforms for Rin, his mom, or Daikichi. He only strays because of his simple mind... is that his fault? He had a crappy childhood. Not everyone is Rin. |

| Kouki is a prime example of what being devoid of a father figure during their formative years does to a boy.You seriously exposed what your dearest friend confided during her most vulnerable moment for your own amusement.The pampered lil T needs to have the world set him straight. Overall the plot inversion isn't that unexpected considering her age, her past and once she got hold of her mom ,verified her lineage & the big boulder of anxiety is taken away .I still do think it is the hormones speaking and once she really sets foot outside during college and sees the world it would change. |
