In Mario Kart Wii, there are a few ways to play: with the Wiimote (w/ the Wii Wheel), Wiimote and Nunchuk, Gamecube controller, and the classic controller. Which one do you prefer to use? (In case, you haven't noticed, I find it easier to say Wiimote, rather than Wii remote. XD)
When being served something as sweet and delicious as cake, it's not having the cake that's important. It's the enjoyment of eating that cake that's important, and it's more enjoyable when done with a friend.

I love using the Wiimote with the Wii Wheel, but, without the Wii Wheel, it just feels kind of weird. When I can't use the Wii Wheel, I use the Gamecube Controller. I'm a little curious to try it out with the Wiimote+Nunchuk combination though... =)

I'm a Wiimote + Nunchuck guy. I can manage with a Gamecube controller, but I'm not at my best without the Nunchuck.

Analog-stick steering is something I'm very used to. Using buttons (like on the DS) is also a similar experience for me, since rather than adjusting the tilt to alter my curve, I tap back and forth. I literally only have the analog stick in neutral and full tilt to one side, swapping rapidly between the two to adjust my curve. This can be done with anything but the Wheel, though.

The main reason I use the Nunchuck is, believe it or not, for the motion controls. Rather then pressing a button with precise timing, I can sweep the Wiimote in a nice, long arc, giving me tons of leeway for timing. And for POW blocks, I can just waggle it in a circle. And being able to pop a wheelie (and do other things) without taking my fingers off of any buttons is nice, too.
