Is there loli in it? Please say yes. Thinking of picking this up and it looks beautiful and different. However, heard it has a terribad/tear jerker ending, is this true? I think I should pick it up and it's def something that shouldn't be missed, but if I enjoy it, a bad ending could really fuck me up a long time.

Thanks folks

Greatest anime ever made. There is no loli. There is no fanservice. It's pure fantasy slice of life. You can't watch it without going through Animation or Natural first as the characters and the setting make the series. Yes, the ending is a tear jerker, but it's the touching type of tear jerker.

You really should watch the first two series - Aria the Animation and Aria the Natural - first.

As XJC said, there are no lolis, no fanservice and has a touching ending.

-watch "The Animation"
-decide if you like it
-if not: don't watch Origination (or Natural for that matter)

I would be terribly offended if someone watched it for suggestive themes =/

On the other hand, watch ARIA if you like massive displays of friendship and whatnot

well what i wanted was loli without service.
Well, still may be good enough for me if it's half as good as everyone says.
What I'm really asking is what happens in the end?
Is it the sad kinda tear jerker where someone dies or leaves to never return again, or the touching, beautiful sort?

Despite lack of real loli, it seems excellent, and the only reason I ever turn down a story about true friendship is if I hate the art (which is beautiful), has too many sad scenes, or I don't like the ending.
Maybe it's personal preference but I don't like to cry in front of my computer. Life is already hard enough, don't see any reason to add another thing to cry about right now.

And I usually critique anime before I watch it, by taking a random middle episode, and evaluating the ending. For me, it's 25% story, 25% art, 25% characters, 25% ending.

I wouldn't say the greatest, but it certainly is worth watching.
