| From Shouoto's blog (8/21): In the time during and after the earthquakes, I was flooded by an influx of messages/mail from overseas which surpassed the amount I received from Japan itself. I'm grateful that my works have been licensed in other countries: Barajou in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, South Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand; SLH in France, Russia, Germany, Italy, South Korea, and Taiwan (that includes countries where it has yet to go on sale.) (There are plans to release JunKare in portions of Europe and Asia as well.), so it really does feel like people are reading and I'm happy for that... The problem is, though, I can read most simple English, but difficult words and net slang go right over my head. I'm sorry. In addition to that, harder questions tend to open up more opportunities for misunderstandings and misinterpretations, so I won't be responding to messages in English; only Japanese. Also, please try not to use translation software to translate what you've already said in Japanese into Japanese. It garbles the meaning so that it's impossible to understand anymore... Please, I think simple English would suffice... Furthermore, there's a certain problem that's arisen as of late. I'd appreciate if people overseas who upload my works without permission, even if for personal use, would please stop. I myself, my assistants, and the editorial department are all trying our hardest to create these series, so all we're asking is that you go out and purchase the volumes... Okay? If that stops, then I think that might increase the chances of my series being released in other countries... Each country has its own differences, cover designs for instance, and they're all really cute. The papers and inks used are all reflective of the individual country standard. They're like treasures. Oh, and people of Japan-- you send in your thoughts, too! "(/へ＼*)") I'll be waiting!! |

Yeah, I made the mistake of a translator once, to talk to a person in Japanese. >.< Apparently they didn't understand at all. But I only used a translator because I didn't have a Japanese keyboard...
