It has been announced that the series will be split over 5 DVD/Blu-Ray volumes. But the number of episodes per volume hasn't been disclosed. Looking at the prices of the volumes I think it will be 2 episodes each on volume 1 and volume 5, while volumes 2 to 4 will have 3 episodes each. Thus 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 2 = 13. |

| So, I did some googleing. The Peavy arc was just the first book. Now that it's the Saverenti arc, it's just started the second book (I think). There's 11 volumes, so at the pace their going, the series could last a while if it was popular enough and they really wanted to. |

| Damn i really like this series as its kinda unique hoping some miracle will happen and this gets a 20+ episode adaptation but right now im shifting more to the 12-13episode adaptation |

| I want to say it will be 12 or 13. An OP2/ED2 doesn't mean anything for length. There are tons of shows that have new opening and ending songs during random episodes. Ben-To had one during episode 4, for example. Also, if the OP/ED won't start playing until the second set of 12/13 episodes, didn't they go on sale extremely early? |
| If we get 12 episodes, it will have cliffhanger ending. (also, We will NOT see the sport festival) If we get more than 12 episodes, we will get to see sports festival, culture festival, and maybe swimming pool story too. |
