This series could’ve been a lot worse.

I liked the idea of Natsumi feeling impatient and wanting to grow up faster. She took Asuma and her childhood for granted. What should’ve been done differently with this ending was have Natsumi realize that transforming into an adult was sabotaging her relationship with Asuma. Even though there was a constant dialogue that “she wants to grow old together” with Asuma, she didn’t really seem to understand that she shouldn’t rush into adulthood. At first I didn’t mind Natsumi being passive aggressive about switching into an adult, but at the end of it all, she was a hypocrite and her transformations were just for shits and giggles without really understanding the consequences. Even though the manga had somewhat of a strong start in the first two volumes, the writing was not the best, for sure.

I give this manga a rating of 5/10
