Q: When did you start writing and what made you want to write?

A: I started to write when I was around the age of six or seven, but back then I was only doing poetry. The thing that made me want to write was because I wanted to quench my thirst for creativity. At first it was something I did when I was bored, because I wasn't much of an outdoor kid due to a tidbit of childhood trauma brought on my near death experience from an allergic reaction. I was one of those kids that you could find in the school library, for the last few years of grade school at least, reading a pile of books, or reading ahead in the books assigned for class.

Novels on the other hand, I had only just started the summer of 2008. The thing that made me want to write novels was also the same as why I started writing poetry, but just a tad different. I slowly moved on from themed poems, to short stories, and finally to novels so that I could broaden my horizons. I also like books that spin good stories, and I wanted to try doing it myself. So far the reviews I've been getting from people is awesome, so I'll continue to write when I'm not bogged with too much work, or that annoying imaginary person known to many of my peers: Writer's Block.

Q: Tell us a little bit more about you.

A: You an find out more about me in my other club Grim's Haven or on my profile for my hobbies and whatnot.

Q: How do you come up with the ideas for your books?

A: I draw my inspiration from a ton of places. I incorporate life experiences, dreams, influence from the media, etc. My latest book, it's yet to be given a definite title, is influenced heavily from the American "anime" Avatar. However, I intend in no way for it to be anything alike. I just like the idea of people being able to control elements, and I love the way the story and character's are built. My book "Paper Wings" was influenced by a role-playing thread here on MAL, but only the setting and some of the characters, my characters, are the same. The book dives further into Tenshi and his life than the thread did/does, and his path is rather different. In the thread, he is friends with the rival school, but in the book, they are the antagonists. My book "Under A Painted Sky" had next to no influence other than my character Tenshi Akki (see below). It's sorta a coming-of-age book about Tenshi and his friends Karin and Kuro. All of which undergo a live changing transformation.

Q: How do you come up with the ideas for your characters?

A: The character's are a little more complex. Although I tend to create the characters for my books after I think of a book idea, that wasn't the case with Tenshi from "Under A Painted Sky" or "Paper Wings." He was a character that I use in RP threads, but modified to fit the story lines of my novels. In "Under A Painted Sky" Tenshi is a boy turn angel, or rather a Grim Angel. I got the idea of grim angels from the game "Riviera: The Promised Land"
