Humans - The most populated race on this planet. The humans who are not chosen by the Truth to wage this war live their lives complacently when they don't realize their potential.
Pros - No weaknesses: You do not have to select a stat as a weakness and you can adapt to any environment
Technomantic Metallurgy: This is the only race that can magically manipulate metal and technology.
Cons - Disbelief: Humans are more easily led astray by the Liar and hypnosis
Earths Wrath: The spirit of the planet isn't very happy with humans and may show slight hostility. Animals and plants may seem to attack you randomly.
Vegarii - The fauna and flora hybrid that is down-to earth and logical, yet passionate about nature. Don't confuse them for the type who'd chain themselves to trees, because that's just stupid. They believe everything has a place and embrace their omnivorous diets. They have the highest aptitude for magic, but ironically if they use it or enter an atmosphere filled with it, they run the incredibly high risk of exploding. Magic reacts with their dna in an explosive manner but some survive by willpower and become what the cloud-born call the magic-born. In this case their hair and eyes turn gold instead of the earthy hues they were born with.
Pros - Plant Regen: Vegarii can regrow almost any limb or organ, causing their self-healing capibilities to be envied.
Long Lived: Vegarii can live for centuries before showing the effects of old age
Magical Potential: You can use any spell, but is it worth the risk?
Special - Vegarii can breed with anything, but the children of a vegarii are always vegarii. So no hybridizing a hybrid.
Cons - Pyrophobia: All Vegarii are deathly afraid of fire.
Burns well enough: Vegarii are highly flammable.

Vali - The people of fire wield fire and magma and carry a darker skin tone. Their eyes are usually orange or red, but purple and amber are also possible. All Vali have stark white hair with a bit of red or orange highlights.
Pros - Heatproof: You are immune to fire and heat exhaustion.
Pyromancy: Only race that can magically produce flame.
Cons - Fires Wrath: Your quick to anger and you are not above arson. Your vice is always treated as wrath and one other vice of your choosing.
Pyromania: You're more susceptible to addictions than other races.
Freeze: You can freeze to death in temperatures humans are comfy with. (Room temp can kill you if you're not careful)
CloudBorn - The weightless cloud born live high in the clouds and push them in order to bring weather to the people of the plane below. Excessive pride tends to be their downfall but they all mean well enough. They have slender builds and hair of any color of the rainbow, sometimes rainbow coloured period along with eyes that can be any color. They're also a little shorter than humans, never quite getting over 5'3"
Pros- Weightless: You do not trigger anything that uses weight as a trigger such as certain traps. You can also fly through the air.
Weather Control: You can control the weather so long as there's a cloud or a pool of water nearby. If neither, then no clouds. No clouds = no weather.
Hydromancy: Only race that can wield water and ice magicks
Cons- Dehydration: You dehydrate quickly in dry climates and can end up shriveling up in the sun.
Chill Effect: Your vice is treated as pride and one other vice.
Climate Acclimation: You are used to living in higher climates so it can get hard to breath on the surface. (Increased risk of asthma and heartattack)
The Unborn - A little innacurate for these nocturnal people. Their pale skin and red eyes have gotten people to confuse them for vampires, although this is completely untrue. Yeah, they're undead, but they won't die in the sunlight. They just prefer the dark. All Unborn were raised from the dead by a spirit for a reason and yeah, some are more hostile than others.
Pros - Undeath: Hey guess what? You're already dead! It's harder to kill you as your limbs can be detached which leads me to...
Motor Control: A removed limb is still under your control.
Cons - Fright: The sight of you might scare people you otherwise want to get on the goodside of.
Obviously from the grave: One of your traits marks you as dead. You don't rot anymore, but you used to so your origins are obvious.
Burns Well: Like the Vegarii, you're susceptible to fire.
Lunarians - The people from the moon who are smaller and leaner than other races. They have the power to chage their own genetic structure and end up weaponizing their entire bodies. But what really labels them as Lunarian is not their black hair and red eyes or even small builds. (females reach about 5' at most) It is their fascination and curiosity with this world.
Pros- Genetic Manipulation: Form is only a state of mind to you, you can change your form dramatically once every real world week. You can change back to your true form at will.
One with the cosmic order: Spirits like you better as you never gave up on the old ways. The Lunarians are nearly immune to the Liar and mental problems. Along with being able to see any other race.
What can be seen: Normal people of any race can see you regardless of whether they know the Truth or not. (special: any lunarian hybrid has this plus their chosen pro)
Cons - Curious: You are curious as can be and want to learn more about this strange world. Humans say it'll be the death of you and they're probably right. (When something is pointed out, you MUST investigate it. No matter how suspiscious or dubious it seems)
Lunacy: People think you're crazy and your appearance may warrant a lot of questions. People are more cautious.
Cannot be Unseen: If a norm sees you shapeshift there will be strict consequences.
Spirit - Amongst the living are the spirits who wish to stop their malevolent brethren. These braves spirits are major spirits to start with but can grow as their fame or notoriety grows.
Pros - Phantasm: You do not take space therefore you can move through solid objects.
Ethereal: Unenchanted physical attacks pass harmlessly through you.
Spirit of...: You may choose what your spirit is a spirit of. It must fit the major spirit criteria and cannot be a rock.
Cons - Stuck: Best way to describe it: Outside your chosen boundaries, you can't do anything. For example, if you chose to be a spirit of the hunt and something does not seem to have anything to do with hunting or tracking, you will have no interest in it and therefore not do it.
May be hunted: Some people might want to kill you because you could potentially become malevolent. Your race is the most unknown and the most feared. |
