| Here is mines: This series must be best horror series I have ever seen in my list. Everything is perfect although I did not expect the director to be the one who made xxxHolic, he did quite a number of times scared the living crap out of me in that series many times. TBH I did jump at the following,  That really caught me nicely. Mei is incredibly creepy. Because of her I will never look the same at Chihiro from Ef, that’s one thing for sure. As such I present a rather interesting list of suspicious events to watch for and discuss of:
About the beginning, the starts was very poignant in that it starts with a damn flowing water only in one section. I assume this is where Mei’s body floated to. The group picture here was interesting for some background. While the town was nicely shown here. The bloody knife here made me think either Mei was murdered or pushed to suicide. Certainly I wonder what of this shrine depiction? Looks suspicious as to why show it. The umbrella point here may refer to a form of abuse. Bullying by poking someone to hurt them with that umbrella is common as sharp point like that can make you bleed. Reminds me a little of the abuse a girl had in Ef. The yacht here suggests that Mei may have killed herself on it. The elevator haunting here suggest Mei is haunting the hospital where she passed away perhaps? Quite the scary depiction of Mei here. Adds to the horror. The depiction of the road with the lights here reminded me of Silent Hill again. More like the first one on PS. While the depiction of Mei here in the rain left another sad impression. Those dolls in the spoiler About the OP, the OP really got me a lot with Mei in the following,  An excellent representation of her in that setting. The beginning with this setup was interesting to see as fear trigger. Itself the episode title looks creepy to me along with the school view shown here. Shown with things flying in the wind. The doll representation were creepy in the spoiler on the floor here wearing a white gown with red roses, the weird looking one here with that hood and the falling doll head here. Looks plain all creepy but what do they represent? The elevator haunting looks to be a good reminder here of Mei’s haunting once again. Do wonder if the coffin here will have vampire meanings at all? Probably not but they are part of horror. Love the fact they use an old American car. A good classic of horrors. About Kouichi, felt bad for him when I saw him in the bed here. Even more so when I saw the blood machine along with the fact it was connected to his lungs. I think that Reiko in the spoiler About miscellaneous things, I find the many classmates showing in the spoiler About the preview, rather interesting to see some old teacher with Mei here and from the looks of the teacher here, he might be the one who organized that insane graduation with Mei’s desk. Reiko looks very MOE here while Izumi looks suspicious of Kouichi here. I still wonder WTF she went back when Kouichi asked about her. Hope to find out next episode. Conclusion is that I am sticking with this for the pure horror in its setting. 8 on 10 for now. BTW special Art in the spoiler While of the ED I did a Image Stitch of it in the spoiler |
