For those who want to see everything Rurouni Kenshin anime has, as prequels/sequels/ovas etc...

I will suggest watching "Rurouni Kenshin - Meiji Kenkaku Romantan - Shin Kyoto Hen - Act 1 and 2" after this episode 62 of the TV series. Otherwise you might understand little if you watch it later :). There are no spoilers for any episodes after 62 in this one, basically it ends at the same point.
One thing tough as animated compared to the TV series I can say that "Shin Kyoto Hen" was alot nicer.

Nice ending. I think I won't watch the rest of the (filler) episodes and consider this series as completed :-) It's a shame there is no adaptation for the last arc... I guess I'll read it, because it seems to be the best arc of all.

Ah, such a good taste, and lasting impression this leaves.

If the previous episode was the "tie-up" of all the events/battles, this one was for the "personal" aspect of the characters.

- Hiko finds Kenshin visiting Tomoe's grave after 10 years. Kenshin leaves her flowers. (You won't truly know about this unless you've seen the OVA's or read the Manga)
- Megumi/Kaoru have a talk about Kenshin's future health/lifestyle, and gesture their "feelings".
- Sano/Yahiko visit the ruins of the final battle, discuss Saitou's fate, and their roles.
- Aoshi, Misao, and the Oniwaban are all slowly getting back together, they've rebuilt their home.
- SAITOU IS ALIVE AND KICKING! As if we ever worried ;)

The Rainbow after the rain cleared was such a beautiful sight, and everyone watching it was just so happy. Aoshi promised Kenshin hot-tea (lol), Okina (Jii-chan) and Kenshin exchanged their gratitiude/farewells and the train scene with Kenshin's group leaving Misao was really beautiful.

They're finally back in Tokyo and walking down that pathway together... Kenshin and Kaoru's moment... I couldn't NOT have a genuine, and heart-felt smile on my face. "I'm back".

Rurouni Kenshin! Thank you once again :).

(I will watch the fillers someday)

A perfect end to a perfect anime!
(not going to watch the fillers so this is the end of the anime as far as I'm concerned)

It was a great ride, i really started to enjoy this anime from episode 28.
I don't think anyone will continue watching from this point.
Maybe i'll read the manga in the future.

Quite enjoyed this series and I will be going on to the manga as I do not wish to watch the rest of the fillers.

Yahiko & Sano remembering the past thru the rubble & thinking of their future.
Of course Saito's fine, but quite happy to see him fine.
Aoshi: "I have no tolerance." Taken out of context lol funny man.
Although had a lot less romance than I expected, Kaoru's "Welcome back" to Kenshin at the same lake was real nice.
End of canon eps, yay finished, was a nice ride thru the meiji era. Finally I can watch the ovas I bought long ago.

I didn't know the rest of this was gonna be anime-only stuff but that's not gonna stop me, I'll watch the rest because I enjoy the comedy and the filler a lot in this show and I like these characters and want to see more of them. Also I get the feeling that most of the people above saying they won't watch the rest cos it's filler have probably seen this show already. I've not seen this before so of course I would want to watch the whole thing, I'll watch the OVAs after I'm done with this because I prefer to watch things in release order.

Honestly if this is your first time watching it and you're only watching for the parts that happened in the manga then you should have just read the manga. Judge this show on its own merits regardless of what happened in the source material.

This should have ended here. I don't see the reason why they made these next filler arcs.

Just an amazing series. And I say that despite not liking old looking animation. When I watched this several years back for the first time, I stopped at this episode and will do so again. To me the scenes with Misao running after the train and thanking her friends in the farewell and Karou welcoming Kenshin back home make this the most emotionally powerful and perfect ending that I have ever seen in an anime.

If the whole series ended here, I'd be pretty happy with that conclusion and the series overall. Its a real shame the anime goes to filler from here and then never got to adapt the rest of the manga. Maybe one day I'll come back to watch the rest of the anime.

Very decent arc. But it's time to move to the manga now, maybe I'll come back for the fillers someday.
For those who will keep going, good luck

Well this is it, at least for me. I really loved Kenshin he's such a nice guy, now I have to figure out how to watch the ovas and the movies cuz I'm definitely gonna skip the filler episodes. Kudos to Kenshin seiyuu, Suzukaze Mayo, for the epic screams.

Already in 2020, for all those who said "I wont see the 3 arc" and for people still watching Kenshin nowadays: I recommend you to see the 3 arc, it is fine even if its just a filler. I even didnt notice it was filler (I realised today). Have fun

And so I arrive at this place once again. It's surreal to think that it's been 15 years since I last watched RK straight through. It's every bit as memorable as it once was and I can appreciate it more now that I better understand what that passage of time is like. I almost wish I could embark on a 10 year journey to find myself, but I'll have to settle for these feelings that have been stirring inside of me. There are many themes that RK touches upon throughout, but the one that has stuck with me the most has been the will to live. Even though I remembered that theme, its value has been lost on me until I came back and experienced this yet again. Kenshin was once my hero when I was a young adolescent, but now I admire him man to man as I am right about his age. The things I couldn't understand when I was younger have now connected and it's only convinced me even more that Kenshin is indeed still my all time favorite anime character.

Onward to the manga now. In all of this time, I still haven't yet completed his journey and so even as conclusive as this feels in its own rights, I know that there is still a saga to come that I hope to continue to draw life changing inspiration from.

9.5/10

So this is where I stop watching, because I really don't like watching fillers. I'm going to pick up the OVA and then continue on with the manga. Overall, a good show. Lots of touching moments. I can see why this was a favorite anime for lots of people growing up. Watching it now after all the high quality anime and great storylines I've seen, it still holds up pretty nicely. A re-make of this would actually be really good, because there were a lot of fight scenes that weren't really animated and instead we got sound effects. I'm looking forward to seeing the re-make, but it's enjoyable to watch an old classic.
...At least let me finish.

I love this episode but just the fact she didn't say she love him made me disappointed.
