They probably wanted Silvestre to add a little depth to the squad with the 9 years he served at Man Utd. As for Senderos you have Silvestre (now), Gallas and Toure more than enough to cover centre back position. |

| The Berbatov issue is going to hang around for the whole season, unless Spurs can bring in a striker who is much better than Darren Bent. I'm somewhat hoping Spurs sell Berbatov to a Spanish club for less than what Manchester United are offering. |

| They certainly seem to be able to throw around a bunch of money, if they do get Berbatov I still can't see them finishing higher than around 6th or 7th. Next year though might be a different story. |
| The 3 biggest confirmed stories of the day ended up being City's take over from an Abu Dhabi based consortium and City then going out and getting Robinho from Real Madrid just as it looked like he was going to Chelsea...and Dimitar Berbatov went to Manchester United after all for a bunch of cash and Frazier Campbell on a season-long loan with a clause not to complain to the Premier League about the transfer. |

| I think that was a wrong move by Robinho.He is a great player, probably will be the best soon but Man City is not for him.He should've stayed with Real or move to Chelsea.However if the new investors give money for transfers they sure can become one of the leading trams in England...Just want to congrat Berbatov.Even though I hate Man U I'm happy for Berba.I hope he can show what we, the Bulgarians can do.Good luck Berbo!!!! |
