| Does anyone actually get any comic relief from this whiny, annoying, obnoxious embodiment of idiocy? Irritation's all I get. Update: Okay, so I won't take back my words because he was the object of my annoyance in the first season, but Itsuki abruptly matures in Second Stage. And while I'm relieved... what in the world happened? Itsuki in 1 and 2 are almost two totally different people. I wish we'd get some development instead of just a snap executive decision. In any case, Initial D just got so much more bearable. |

| I dont like Itsuki in any of the seasons, he always jumps to conclusions and has a big mouth, I actually hated how no matter how many people he defeated his friends always thought that he would never win. and a couple of those times Itsuki actually believed in him, even when he was racing the sil 80 Iketani didnt believe in him even though he is the one who asked him to race. |

| Ugh, God, yes. I'm only halfway through the first season, but I'm at my limits. I really wish he would disappear. Yes, I understand he's supposed to be comic relief, but yeah, that's not working. He's more like annoyance accumulator for me. I'm glad to hear though, that he gets better in the sequel. I don't even care if it's clumsily handled character development, I just want him to become less obnoxiously idiotic. |
