| Today I was thinking about Shirley x Lelouch. Too bad Shirley died, but Lelouch died too, so ... so I don't know >.< It was a good ending anyways. |

| I don't even know why I bothered watching this anime, knowing this will end this way, could have saved about 20 hours of my life. They didn't had to kill him, could have faked his death. This is so sad. Poor C.C. alone in the end again... Probably the only thing that bothers me the most in this anime. EDIT: Is the novels any worth looking into? Can this be the truth? |

| I loved the ending to Code Geass. Finally a serious anime where the ending is not too good to be true. Why cant anyone seem to accept that Lelouch dies? Doesn't anyone remember his famous quote? About not shooting unless you're willing to get shot? It was a metaphor. He had to die because he killed people. That was how he felt. To say he tried to cheat death is to insult his honor. When Nunnally touched his hand, it's not that she saw those images, she knew he was lying about everything and was wanting to die. Her line was, "All this time you've..." Been lying. Remember, she could easily tell more about people when she touched their hand because she was blind all her life. This was emphasized many times. ... Anyone who is confused about small details, watch the anime again. I easily found answers to any questions I had by doing just that. If you still have questions, ask me. I'll be more than happy to explain it. (I love Code Geass, the only 10/10 I've given.) Heads up, about C.C.'s comment in the end, (cause I know that's the first thing to come up). She said, "The power of Kings, called Geass, will make people lonely. I suppose that wasn't quite true. Right, Lelouch?" She was looking up at the sky for her statement. Just as most people do when they talk to deceased relatives. Here is what she meant: Most people with the power of Geass died without ever getting to achieve what they wanted to in life. Trapped in their own world, isolated from everyone else, they never found true happiness. Lelouch did. Rolo was used by everyone. Mao only wanted to only be with C.C. Charles was unsatisfied with human nature. Lelouch was truly happy he could make the world a better place for Nunnally. That's all he ever wanted, and he succeeded. I suppose Rolo found happiness in the end too, acquiring a brother. C.C. just never knew that. |
