| I thought it was kind of dull, and the voice over repeating the dialogue was unnerving and irritating. In the end, I just turned the sound off and read the subs. We'll see if it picks up in the second episode. |

| Well they dropped the voice over in episodes two and three, so that improved things a bit. |

| Animation was natural but the story felt a bit dull. A strange girl showing up out of nowhere and at least one girl already interested in the mc, Yoshiro. "The dead never come back". No shit. Fit a bit short tbh. I wonder why the title is called Refrain Blue also. |

You are not accustomed to the visual novels of Key, aren't you? ;) I really like it. The character design was beautiful, it reminds me of Kakyuusei; and the music felt very melancholic. |

| Nao was rather inconsiderate at the end there by suddenly equating a loss of someone from her life to a random girl that was unintentionally brought up by some guy she barely knew under her contrived pretense of that girl being dead as well. Just imagine how rude it would have been if Nao's assumption was incorrect and Mikage was not dead. (It is still not yet confirmed from this episode.) |
