I decided to keep a list here of the chapters that are covered in each episode of the anime. I will keep adding to this main post as the season goes on.

Episode 1 - Most of Chapter 0 - the one-shot manga that started it all.
Episode 2 - One crucial scene from Chapter 0, and Chapter 1 (with some nice additions)
Episode 3 - Chapter 3 and Chapter 4.
Episode 4 - Chapters 7 and 8 (with a small flavor of Chapter 5, but about summer gym uniforms instead of swimsuits.)
Episode 5 - All over the place! Some more flavor os Chapter 5, Chapter 6, Chapter 14, and Chapter 16!
Episode 6 - Chapter 15 and Chapter 2!
Episode 7 - Chapter 10 neatly folded inside of chapter 17.
Episode 8 - Very faithfully covers Chapters 20, 21, and 22: M. Sensation; M. Feeling; and M. Response.
Episode 9 - Chapters 23 and 24
Episode 10 - Chapter 28, 29, 30, and part of 31 (with judicious use of leaving out redundant or non-essential-to-the-story content)
Episode 11 - The rest of Chpater 31 through Chapter 34 - end of Cultural Festival Arc!
Episode 12 - Chapters 35 and 36, with the payoff moment from Chapter 9! Brilliant!
Episode 13 - Chapters 19 and 12, expertly combined into a single story!

FIN! Bravo!

OAD/OVA - Elements of Chapter 27 but really anime only. Also uses characters from Ueshibe's manga Discommunication.

I love this director!!!

It isn't over yet... If I had to guess, the current arc could be the end, but we won't know for a couple of months at least.

Episode 5 features stuff from, or inspired by, 4 different chapters, including 5, 6, 14, and 16. It is clear that the anime is trying to fix the time-line issues that the manga had by putting summer stories all together. I expect the Oban Festival story with big sis in the Yukata from the ED will be coming soon, but not next week, because next week is the Mysterious Step up! With Oka in her skimpy outfit! :P

Also, some of the first real departures from the manga, with some scenes that were really new and not from the manga. (Yes, the scenes in episode 2 with Tsubaki asking Ueno for advice around the soda machine were not from the manga, but there are plenty of scenes in the manga of them talking like that about Ueno's relationship around the soda machine that it didn't seem that "new". Thes soccer and mermaid stuff was brand new, unless I am forgetting stuff...)

However, I like the changes! The director is taking a great manga, straightenning out the time line, making the story flow more fluidly, and really tightenning up the actual story. The monthly nature of the manga made it not really flow unless there was a story arc, which really didn't happen until later in the manga. The anime is successfully flowing from one week to the next better than the early manga managed!

I love the changes. Maybe skip some scenes, like Urabe's blush after Tsubaki flatters her, but are nice changes. Next week will be happy and sad at same time :)

By the way, I suppose that next episode is after summer break, right? That means remaining few episodes of summer clothes...

You would think the next one would be back at school, since it was in the manga, but it makes me wonder if they will do the part with him going on vacation with his family (where the Yukata in the ED is from...) I seem to recall some shows having a mid-summer class session in it (A-Channel did if I remember correctly) so maybe they will have more summer afterward? I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks...

Well, it is the end of summer break, so I guess the Yukata will have to wait until next summer, unless there is going to be a flash back...

For this week's episode, we have Chapter 15 - Mysterious Step Up and Chapter 2 - Mysterious Photograph!

I really hope they use chapter 11 (Urabe starts wearing a garter belt during Winter) and chapter 21 (When Tsubaki touches Urabe) in an upcoming episode.

Episode 7 - This was a masterwork of adaptation! The main thrust of the episode is Chapter 17 - Mysterious Athletic Festival, but, in order to fill out the story, add some fun and fan service, and further develop the relationship between Urabe and Oka, as well as some nice character development for Oka in particular, but also Urabe, the director very neatly and deftly folded Chapter 10 - Mysterious Wonder Drug, inside the Athletic Festival story! What an amazing job of adapting two slice-of-life manga chapters that have no relation to each other and turning them into a coherent, realistic story, in a Fantasy/Science Fiction sort of way!

Episode 8 - Very faithfully covers episodes 20, 21, and 22: M. Sensation; M. Feeling; and M. Response.

The only changes were a hillarious addition with big sis offering him one of a pair of breast shaped meat-buns as he leaves to go clear his head after his dream, and the fact that they had to change some things
but it was still one of the absolute best episodes so far! So much relationship progress, so much character development,

This episode is the best so far. After this episode I suppose that, if someday we see the chapter about Urabe's dreams, she could comment that she never had had dreams like that... until she met Tsubaki. (Yep, a episode that covers chapters 35 and 36 can add chapter 6 without problem)

The only thing that bother me about this episode is the reaction of many people, all who say "Hahaha, he grabbed her boobs" or something like that without even thinking about what happened to Urabe's body and mind. Really many boys (sadly like me when I was fifteen) should learn be more empathic with the girls changes in the adolescence. Tsubaki did something wrong, but in the end he learned how beatiful are the girls, specially his girl.

In Crunchyroll I read a comment that I liked: "This is a show about a boy who becomes a man, and a girl who turns a woman." The user is quite right.

Episode 9 is another very faithful adaptation of manga chapters, this time Chapters 23 and 24, M. For Some Reason, That Kind Of... and M. Idol

Maybe is a advance to a future episode, like happened when Tsubaki see Urabe ears in the episode 6 and two episodes later he licked her ears. Now I want so much a second season with winter and spring chapters :(

I know!!!! (And they could really throw that scene that is missing from earlier anywhere and it would fit. I just love some of the lines in that part, so I really want them to do it!)

I'm pleased overall with the way they've been adapting the manga for the show. In some ways it's an improvement.

I just hope they don't adapt the storyline with the idol, I didn't like the whole darn thing and the monthly update schedule made it worse. If they will, I hope they'll modify it heavily, and/or they'll relegate it to an OVA so we can have the option of skipping it.

How should the show end though? If the show were to deviate from the manga more, I think the coming storyline would be a good time to have their first kiss.

The Idol arc being done as the OVA is my personal bet. That leaves the 2nd season for the meat of the story beyond that, including the current, incredibly maddening storyline that I wish would just finish and move on to more and better romance!

However, they could easily drop a first kiss into the next storyline, finish the anime, and let that be that. However, that would make me very, very sad! I want to see a 2nd season so bad, and if they kiss now, that is a clear indication that it ain't gonna happen!

The idol arc is not so bad, really have nice moments and the climax was interesting to learn a little how Urabe thinks and acts. I suppose everyone hate it because it is long, not only being the longest arc so far, also by monthly publication of the manga and its breaks. In fact, it is the same problem in the current arc from manga...

Thanks god anime helps a lot to endure it.

WOW! Episode 10 covered some serious manga pages! It starts in Chapter 28 and goes all the way to page 11 of Chapter 31. (Though I expect there may be some pages from earlier that show up in the early-going of next episode, like showing Urabe getting ready to go to the Festival, just for the "getting dressed" scene. They can't pass that one up, can they?

Episode 11 finishes off Chapter 31, then goes on to give us the rest of the Cultural festival arc, through Chapter 34.

It would be a nice ending, I see in the preview shows a "new" dream that will be a great add and I am impatient to see it, but if there is a episode 13 (it isn't clear yet...), I confess I would like if covered Mysterious Memory and Mysterious Big Sister. For the sake of a awesome ending to love to the mysterious girlfriend even more, jeje.

Thanks axuma!

Based on the preview, I believe "Mysterious 'Tug'" is going to be "Mysterious Delusion". If you recall,

I totally agree with Asagami about M. Memory and M. Big Sis! Those would be the perfect ending, if the show is actually 13 episodes. If not, that could be the OAD that is coming out with Volume 9, since that would be a good prelude to the much hoped season two. We can only hope that there is an announcement in volume 9 along with the OAD! Please, please, please!!!

Episode 12 is another amazing masterpiece of adaptation! This episode takes the two chapters of "Mysterious Delusion", chapters 35 and 36, and mixes in the pay-off moment from chapter 9, "Mysterious Sign". They fit together with complete and total perfection! Next, the chapters that I mentioned in the previous post! Can I call 'em or what! :) This director is a genius! I hope he gets the call for season two, if it gets the green light.

Episode 13 - Another masterpiece of adaptation! Here we have two standalone chapters, Mysterious Big Sister - chapter 19 and Mysterious Memory - chapter 12, seamlessly merged into one story! (They do go together well, and I did expect them to put them together even before the previews from last week, but still, it was excellent work!)

The only thing missing was the pay-off lines from M. Big Sis

But I will forgive that, since the payoff at the end of M. Memory is a bit more powerful, with the emotion of "meeting mom" and the implication of future improprieties to look forward to!

@Yvese - Thanks! I love the series in both forms, and love keeping track of it. (I will also admit that I did it partly to keep track of what I saw and what I read! I had to ask Asigami once if a scene from the manga had happened in the anime yet, because I had gone back and read some of the early manga and got confused! LOL!)

OVA - Takes elements of Chapter 27, Mysterious Summer Greetings, but is really an anime only story. The only aspects taken from the manga are some of the banter between Tsubaki and his sister and the lack of underwear under the Yukata. (The nude shot of sis is more explicit in the anime than it was in the manga...)
