| Yes a little bit. Most people who have seen both the series and the OVA think that the OVA stunk. My stance is a bit more neutral. I think that the OVA was defintly different from the anime itself, but as a loyal, elfen lied worshipping fan, I had to love it. |

| It did. I watched the main story before watching the OVA andthe whole time I when I saw Lucy just beasting everywhere i was asking myself, "How did they get her in the first place!?!?!" and after the OVA I knew and also why she didn't kill Kuroma. |
