| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- No one did this so I do. Saw it and have to say REALLY GOOD! The action picks up! Allison's planr looks like Messerschmidt or P-51 Mustang type while the other 3 were crappy seas planes meant to patrol and shoot down. So Dah they lost the speed of Allison's plane was way better! IT'S THE AERODYNAMICS! Cute was the part of Lillianne kissing on the head Carlo! Like I said in #16 using kids as a means to a end NEVER WORKS! It might have produced the desired effect BUT THERE ARE BETTER WAYS! 100% for sure there would have been another way. I LOVED when Treize RAMS into the other plane cause I went like SUCKER! LOL That was really funny for some reason. Seems all these planes now have 2 guns on each sides....possible evolution from only one on each side. The seaplane is good but WTH was that rock doing there???? It almost looks like it ws done on purpose. :O Anyways it will be interesting to see how they get out of this. The kids falling asleep was also LOL cause it made me think they are REALLY BORED in the end. Next episode FINALLY KISS OF LILLIANNE AND TREIZE! YAY next step is marriage and we all know after what! |

| The action is getting a bit better on the Lillia half of the series, but it's still very far from realistic. It was nice that they already presented the motivations for the terrorists and portrayed them as actually caring humans, even though their plan was pretty absurd. The planes didn't get any damage from ramming, and the dogfights between Allison and the 3 fighters were almost ridiculous. The seaplane hit the rocks at 100m from the shoreline and they'll try to swim, even though probably over half the kids(and Treize) don't know how? And Allison said there were planes coming to rescue the passengers? How about some boats, people? BOATS! |

| I don't believe that they will all swim. Probably the children get some rescue-boats and Lillia and Treize heroically sacrifice themselves and try swimming to the shore. Treize will probably drown and become unconscious and Lillia swims, carrying her Prince to the shore. But oh my god he doesn't breath - we need cpr. No one there? - oh ok I'll do it myself then. Looking forward to next episode. |

| As usual, fights in Allison & Lillia totally defy any kind of logic or rationality, but well, it's this anime's style so I should be used to that now. However, it was a somewhat interesting episode and the characters are still great (I liked Allison & Will too much though, I can't get over the fact they are old and just secondary characters now...). |

| Oh boy, these past few episodes have been quite troublesome. First, I forget, why specifically were Treize and Lillia not supposed to fly at the beginning? Second, wow, they just abandoned Mateo. I understand the reasoning behind it, as to protect themselves, but geez, that was done without a second thought. Third, if the fighter planes were intent on shooting down the seaplane from the beginning, why were they content with talking with the main characters for so long? In fact, just because a woman was on board, why would the fighter planes hesitate given there were already intending to shoot down a plane full of children? No, rather, why would they let uninvolved people who know about this plan live? Fourth, why did the fighter planes wait to shoot the plane down? No, even better, why didn't they rig the plane with explosives or sabotage the plane's engines somehow? They went so far as to destroy communications, of which I doubt the kids would have been able to use either ways. If the intent was to raise awareness of the country's poor situation, I think the evidence of getting shot down by military planes would result in political turmoil as opposed to welfare. And, though I'm making assumptions on the country's situation, I'd assume that there must have been some alternative to that plan. Heck, even if the intent was to portray those men as extremists, they didn't even sound extreme enough, nor do they sound convinced of their plan. I just don't know. Fifth, Lillia was already yelling at the fighter pilots about ramming into them with the seaplane. Why would they suddenly freak about about Lillia fake screaming and crying? Sixth, when Allison got onto the radio frequency and declared her intents, why would those fighter pilots continue speaking on their attack strategy on the same frequency, allowing Allison to hear everything? Seventh, Treize verbally stated his lineage right in front of Allison with her mother confirming it, how did she not catch that? Eighth, I find it interesting that there's absolutely no sense of urgency on board. The children are just having a blast, which is kind of an interesting choice, but I dunno. |
| Lillia was so annoying this episode. When Treize explains the thinking behind bad guys' actions, she yells at the top of her lungs, "So you agree with them?" Urgh! Just because he explains their rationale doesn't mean he agrees with it! Does she have such a low opinion about her friend? |
