| It really sucks that it got cut so short. But, it really was very similar to a yurified One Piece. I say this as a HUGE fan of One Piece. We all know the manga was cut short, and this its potential was snipped away, but with an anime adaptation it'd at least have a chance to fill out its potential. They wouldn't have to rush the end, and maybe could even revive it. The problem is the yuri content though, in particular the ecchi content. While Yuru Yuri was a relative success, there's still a rather large stigma against yuri, especially shoujo ai (love between young girls). Still, with a bit of toning down on the ecchiservice, I think this might just have a chance as a successful series. Of course, with the manga being shut down, it's highly possible that Japan just did not like it. I wonder if this may be one of those shows that is more popular overseas? Or maybe it just released too early? I'm just curious what others might think on this is all. I doubt there will ever be a chance for this to happen sadly. I really am loving it, and dreading when I get to the part where it got cut short. |
