It's a real shame that they were more willing to shut it down then actually try to revive it. Even as a shadow of it's former-self it will be missed.

It was the best segment a children's cartoon channel ever had, nothing can surpass it. At least it went out with a 'bang' (Tom's V.a. also voiced Spike in Cowboy Bebop who's last words were "Bang")

"Alas poor Tom, we knew him well. May he be remembered on in us"

Why would they shut down Toonami? Cartoon Network has only Ghost in the Shell, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop and Morbito. Toonami was the Haven for us.
"Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be the one.
Born to bear and read to all
The details of our ending.
To write it down for all the world to see.
But I forgot my pen,
Shit the bed again,
Typical."

Does anybody think Toonami could replace Adult Swim, keep some of the shows going, then bring back some of the anime series and make them uncut?
