| As you can guess from the title, what anime do you consider to be a must-watch from the S-A&Y genre before you are allowed to call yourself a fanboy/girl of it? In my personal opinion, it's strawberry panic, but I want to know what YOU think. ^.^ PS. | I agree on, Strawberry Panic. I mean, usually when people talk about yuri anime it usually starts (or contains) with Strawberry Panic. But another one that I think is important is Maria-sama ga Miteru, I think this is one of the must watch before you can actually start calling yourself a fanboy/girl. |

| I agree with all the manga and anime on this list i havnt read much manga (it is so hard to find gotta go to amazon.com lol), but i dont think very many people will agree with this choice, however, i think that Kashimashi should at least be considered it is my favorite and got me into yuri (along with strawberry panic) |

| I'd say Strawberry Panic really is sort of a "rite of passage" into the genre, since yuri is its central element. Then, one could start watching Marimite, and read Aoi Hana ^^ |
