This is simply to state your favorite character and where they come from, and discuss them if you so choose. To me, Kotonoha has always been my favorite... troubled... character. She's from School Days, a great anime, and thus I hate Sekai, but I'm not here to preach why so. I have to say, though. If Ibitsu were an anime as well, I'd expect the gothic lolita to be pretty damned high in my list of characters. Possibly above Kotonoha.

Shion is crazier. Trust me. That 5th arc was... a lot.

Shiro from Deadman Wonderland or Yuno from Mirai Nikki. Crazy/yandere are my favorites lol

Two anime I really want to see. Stop tormenting me lol. I'm hearing Yuno a lot here and there, not just here. I should check Mirai Nikki out sooner. I still give deadman wonderland priority though. I don't know, I just want to watch people kill each other right now. Relieve some stress watching other people suffer, the like. Is that a bad thing?

I haven't read much of anything so far. Manga or novel? I'm interested in both anyhow, but you get the idea. BUT, I don't care for too much action in manga, as it just is hard to follow, personally. I read creepy horror, watch action horror I guess. Of course, I just picked up Saitama Chainsaw Shoujo just now, so what am I saying?

Sounds fun. Is there a novel or anime, cuz I'd prefer that over a manga for something like that.

No novel? Aw. Yeah, I've been looking into novels lately. Problem is I simply won't read novels online. I tried reading the first chapter of Welcome to the NHK online, and it simply didn't work. It really sucks because the library system has the anime series, but not the damned book. I'm sure they'd have The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya at least. If not, it's only $4 tops anyway. Unlike Welcome to the NHK for $30.

Favourite characters in terms of insane types only, I'm assuming? I love Minatsuki from Deadman Wonderland, Jin Kisaragi and Hazama from Blazblue (which is a game first off, but there is a manga) Accelerator from Raildex, Lelouch from Code Geass if you want to consider him that, along with Light from Death Note...Lucy from Elfen Lied and Eva/Eva-Beatrice from Umineko are worth mentioning as well...I could go on, but the list would be really long, derp.

Hello and welcome to the club Fayto! Whoa, that's a long list. I only know Light and Lucy lol. Lucy is pretty amazing indeed.

Ah, thanks. I could have gone on though. What can I say, I'm intrigued by the criminally insane and psychologically disturbed, hahah. ^u^ Don't know Lelouch, huh...you really should watch Code Geass especially, then. We don't see protagonists like Lelouch anywhere near often enough. He's quite comparable to Light, I suppose. So much more interesting than your typical main character. Umineko is definitely worth checking out too, if you like Higurashi-- the VN though. The anime is a laughably bad adaption of an epic psychological horror. Sigh ;w;

I'm going to be seing Mirai Nikki and Deadman Wonderland most likely next. Criminally insane and psychologically disturbed? That suits me, I like abnormal psychology. It interests me beyond most everything I've come to know due to it's unpredictability. |

Yeah, I'd recommend those two as well (even though I've only read the manga of both...need to get around to seeing the anime adaptions, derp). There are a lot of anime out there with interesting characters in the less-than-mentally-stable department, and I appreciate that :B Code Geass has been my favourite anime for quite a few years though. I'd recommend it to anyone, really. Abnormal psychology can really be fascinating. Every day life stuff really bores me a lot, so I'm pretty much naturally drawn to this kind of shit. Eheheh.

I really need to find longer manga comparable to Doll Star, if you know it. It generally focuses on a person's mentality through trauma, shock, and fear.
