I thought I’ll take some time and write a suggestion list of mangaka for you guys, I hope you’ll find it useful. Usually what I do is: search for the mangaka on myanimelist.com, and then try to find all the manga available by them online and read them all. Here are some of my favourite mangaka: 1. Yamada Yugi – I love her works! The art might not be appealing to all, but the stories are fantastic, with a good plot and very decent yaoi. I have to admit that I love all the works of hers that I have read! 2. Mizukami Shin – very good yaoi! Though I have to admit that first time I’ve read her works about army guys, I was a bit startled (in a good way). Her works should definitely be read. 3. Arai Sachi – I’ve only discovered her works a while ago. I was very much impressed by her art style and the plots were unusual (at least I thought so.) things like Kare O ni Mizu wo and Otonari ni Noraneko should definitely be read! 4. Yoneda Kou – one of the best yaoi mangaka! All her works are amazing and really need to be read! 5. Hamada Shoko – this mangaka deserves more credit than what is given! Yume no Kodomo is one of greatest stories I have read. There isn’t a lot of yaoi there – that’s true, but the actual plot compensates. When I first started it, I thought the art was poor and so was the story but I was mistaken. Don’t judge the book by its cover!:3  |
