| Wow! I will reserve final judgement until I can see the subbed version, but this is almost entirely non-manga! The first real anime original story from this director... It looks great, and uses some of the aspects of one of the chapters, but it was a big surprise. And the two end-cards appear to suggest something:  Urabe has a secret for Tsubaki?  And she isn't saying "Thanks for watching". Instead she is saying "See you..." I really hope to see her again! (and again, and again, and again!) |

| I will post more later, including some GIFs, but for now, I wanted to comment on how much I loved the OVA! I was tearing up at the end it was sooooo sweet! I have missed these characters so much! A great piece of trivia: The characters that were "possessed by fox spirits" were the main couple from Ueshiba-sensei's earlier manga Discommunication Matsubue Takaomi and Togawa Arika. Evidently, part of the story is taht Matsubue asks Togawa if he can drink some of her tears! (The first chapter of it was released by the same scanilation group that is doing MGX a while back... I'll have to see about reading it...)  More later! I have to watch other shows now! ;) |

| I think the wait would have killed me for this if I had watched this show as it aired. Perhaps a slightly better episode to end the series on without being too hung up about not being able to see any more. Here's hoping the See You... end card truly was a hint at a second season. I guess we'll hear about a second season in the manga before the end of the year if that's the case, or maybe around the time the final DVD/Blu-Ray is out at the end of November. Overall though, I enjoyed the relationship development they had going. Would probably prefer rare/random supernatural episodes to stuff like the Idol Arc to be honest. |
