The Xiao family are quiet possible the most well known and wealthy family in all of China. Owning and running countless business all across the county, their business portfolio spans everything from retail and leisure, to weapon manifactoring. It's not surprising that some believe they are single handedly supporting the Chinese Economy. Naturally, they have also donated hundreds upon thousand of dollars into the Chevalier.
Xiao is the third child of the Main Family Branch, and the only daughter. Alongside her siblings, she lived a life most could only dream of. Even in these harsh times, they lived incrediably comfortable, eating the best foods and recieving the best education. They were groomed from birth, and are destined for greatness.
But her father had a rather strict view on life. A former soldier himself, he had a firm belief that it was only through armed service that one could discover their true potential. This was something he passed on to his children, with both of Xiao's elder brothers having studied and served as Limiters, before taking positions in the corporation.
Xiao, however, didn't share these beliefs. Despite all she had been taught, Xiao had no real despire to fight. She was skilled, for sure, but simply lacked the drive. She much prefered her everyday life, studying and attending parties.
However, that all changed. Her carefree life was shattered when she was caught in the middle of a Nova Clash. She watched in horror as people around her were slaughtered as they stood frozen.She, too, would have been killed if were it not for the arrival of the Pandora.
After seeing it for herself, Xiao knew she had to try and make a difference. She could no longer stand back, thinking herself free from the world's troubles. The images of that day were ingrained deep into her mind. As soon as she was able, she asked her Father to allow her to enroll in North Genetics. |
