| This is a pretty satisfying conclusion between Taka and Akio, they both raced their car to their maximum potential and both the R and the Z suffered damages as a result, both their engines are still alive though so it's definitely not the end of the R or the Z. Still, that race proved to be sufficient to satisfy Taka's desire to push his R and himself to the limit after all these years. Not to mention, after achieving what he wanted to do with his R, we also saw him get closure on the relationship between himself and Mika. Despite knowing full well that Taka might not be the ideal partner for Mika, she insisted on being with him for that is what made her happy. Damn, this man raced the Devil Z, pushed the Z and his car, and he got himself a loving woman who understands his desire for cars and speed. Bro rolled the dice and got the jackpot. Mika is by far the most understanding woman for a man's obsession with cars so far in the series, aside for Reina who is an enthusiast herself. Out of all the side characters and side-character couples that we saw so far in the series, Taka and Mika got is the best one and got the best ending on top. |

| I'm beginning to think Kuroki's R33 GT-R is just cursed at this point, first the engine mount cracked and now the engine is blown. He's going to need to really step up his game; Meanwhile Akio's Z is alive and kicking it seems like he put plot armor in his rebuilt Z's gas tank. I'm surprised Mika has reignited her interest in Kuroki after all the drama she had about breaking up with him because he made it clear that he had his focus already set. Ah my eyes were blessed with seeing a blue and white EVO V / VI chase scene omg!! |
