THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

This episode was interesting on 2 facets. First one being Yui’s past and the second being the present and its rather worrying end yet hopeful in a miracle. That being said onto the thoughts concerning this episode.

About the beginning, the start in the spoiler

was rather strong with missiles and a Apocalypse setting where all is Hell and fire. One of the strong points to remark is Yui in the spoiler

along with her GORE attacks on the BETA. Yui being younger, her facials sure show out the eagerness of her aggressive posture towards her fight.

As the fight progresses it was quite a blessing to see BETAs in the spoiler

being slaughtered much more wildly and better than in previous episodes IMO. This is good as we are shown directly what is going on in Yui’s past that p[perhaps was not shown at all.

SHIT HITS BAD in the spoiler

as such a nice girl as Kyoko with the blue hair gets SPLAT with the Fort Class tail. A rather sad grim dead with only a terrified face and pissing in one’s pants would be appropriate before the final death of such a hit. Essentially Fort Class has a similar tail attack as a Scorpion except instead of a stinging it slashes or crushes. Thus marks the sad end of Yui’s past for now and we still do not know some other details on average. So it was very interesting and yes Japan got AMBUSHED! I knew that but it was not exactly told how it was. The details were nice that a multi front and re-landing occurred of the BETAs.

About the present, back at the base it certainly came out pretty nice of Bridges saving Yui nicely. However the best of that came in the following,

Yui’s package of blushing and MOE along with some Tsundere came through and it was the best to date TBH.

Despite that it concerns me of the spoiler

that the BETAs got the core in their hands. OK here is low down of what I think. First let’s get to the Aliens of this series:

They are called Vajras and they learn by being blasted all the time with the weapon and eventually they have armour that your weapons cannot destroy hence anti-weapon of what you used on them. So if those BETAs are like that then GAME OVER! They will learn all from the Core Module and may be able to stop that cannon from working on them or who knows. Knowing Vajras and these doing the same kind of learning can only mean doom for this new weapon now that the Core is with them. That’s really worrisome and Yui in the spoiler

SHIT G-FORCE! Well not only in this case impact but G-Force is possible due to the sudden moves along with vibration problems that the suit most likely stops as impact itself.

About Fort Class, now the fight was going superb in the spoiler

splatter them BETAs! Till the following,

SHIT! That’s to add that it was a heavy Tail Swipe from the looks of the spoiler

It looks like Fort Class is more insane than I though in terms of Tail Swipes. The thing is a killer. In one hit it disabled loads of stuff on the TSF of Bridges not to mention damaged further Yui with its shock.

However as I remark in the spoiler

Stella shot the thing with 6 Hole Shooting from 3 guns. Well thing is that Fort Class needs a shoulder area shot where it’s Purple and it’s dead along with some face shots. Still shocking it ends up like that so easy. Still need clear shots from far. That thing is a monster in close combat as one SPLATTED 2 girls from Yui’s past.

About the heavy bombers, BUSTED TO BAD MY ASS AND TIME! Damn! It took forever but I got it! Pretty sure the following spoiler

Oh man that was a pain but upon closer inspection the model is the same minus some modern MODs done to it. I am damn glad I got to find out and use my brain on a series like this. I am sure the VN promises lots of thinking like that of Brain challenge. Yeah it’s that model people so like now you know.

About the fan service, just a mention to Stella in the spoiler

thanks for the show. Your breasts are great Stella. You need a family and male once this is over.

About thee end, 2 things really hit hard. First one being Yui in the spoiler

that crying. SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT! That hits harder than I though but it goes back that Yui cannot hold her emotions, broke her promise and in general it shows that Females are emotional to the point of not being to promise to withhold their feelings even based on a promise. Well that’s the view I get from this.

Bridges in the spoiler

OH ROYAL YES! Gore! BETA red soup and guts! YES! DUKE NUKEM STYLE! COME AND GET SOME! It was totally exciting. I had loads of fun seeing Bridges go wild like that. His facials were super berserk good. However less we get a miracle done or someone saves him, he is toast! Mecha is about to blow up and is unstable. Staying in it would be dead only! Bridges….YOU ARE CRAZY MAN! YOU ARE NUTS! That’s what kept going in my mind. I did not even think he could handle Melee so well. Instead of a Rambo knife it should have been a Katana that slices. A light-saber like Gundams have is the best but they are not there yet.

In conclusion let’s hope someone saves Bridges as a miracle maker cause him doing now would be damn too early IMO.
