Which controller configuration do you like best?
| I was just wondering about this my friends today because I am kind of the oddball out of the bunch because I use the wiimote + nunchuck. I was wondering if I was the only one out there that moved on from the gamecube controller and was really interested if anyone actually uses wiimote by itself or a classic controller for that matter. |

| I like to go with the GC controller, mainly because of the C/B/T-stick variations in control which fit my own personal play style. I did use regular Wiimote for a while, but it can't climb ladders in custom stages and doesn't have as many advanced options. Interestingly enough, though, you can actually swap two sets of Wiimote controls in mid-battle by plugging in a nunchuk (something which most people don't see as useful, but it hasn't really been tried out yet). I actually keep 2 different GC control settings, T-stick with tap jump off and B-stick with tap jump on. A lot of Lucario's ATs (RDT, Extremetrick) need the C/T-stick to work, so that's why. Bowser and Luigi, meanwhile, need B-sticking for dash specials + Backfiring, and it helps with Klawhops too. |

| The only disadvantage I really see to the wiimote + nunchuck is the lack of a c-stick because I tend to forget to use down smashes a lot of the time for some reason. I haven't really messed around with the configuration but I think I'm going to look into it for the next tournament. |

| definitely gamecube controller. Its mainly because i'm used to using it for melee. I always use the same controller too because whenever i use a different one i don't play as well. i tried using the wiimote but some of the controls weren't easy to do, just didn't work out as well |

| I've been playing with the GC controller since Melee came out and only briefly tried the other three styles. Needless to say, I stuck with the GC controller. |
