| What's Taki's plan btw? He messed things up |
 No wonder here, Mirai's plan is to neutralize casualties on both sides. Taki's plan are simple - he wishes to sink the Mirai ship. That scheming bastard, seeing Mirai was evading an useless battle with American dauntless jets he slowly starts to resurface (2 m/s) the submarine, knowing fully that if those american jet spot them they'll be sunk in no time putting a wager risking his own submarine crews life and safety as well as Yanagi and Kadomatsu who are held hostage on board. Mirai hardly pressed chose to save it's crewmen and will have to face the full brunt of an american attack now. I feel sorry for all those fighter jets who'll probably die in the upcoming battle. |

He manipulated Miari and the US squadron to face each other, and with Yosuke and Yanagi onboard, he has all the cards under his sleeve. From then on, he chose to risk his sub knowing that Mirai will be forced to face the US squadron in order to ensure Yotsuke's and Yanagi's survival, damn. |

| Captain Umezu isn't very calculating. He should have guessed that Taki was forcing them into this position since they forcefully took the two crewmen. Should have call his bluff and continue running away. The sub would have stopped before reaching the surface. |
