| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The morning after... Embarassed, embarassed... thinks Mei. Eyes closed tight. Even closed, she can see skin's warmth coming from Yamato's hands... breathing... This is reality... these sorts of thoughts, things to make disappear. This is over, this embarrassing thing... **** And it actually says, "This doesn't happen often in shojo manga?"!!! *** In the midst of it they should be thinking... "After it is over we should be completely happy, laughing hahahahaha..." In fact in the midst of it she was not thinking anything bad but afterward felt the feeling of returning to reality... Yamato thinks she is embarassed, can't understand her face from where she is huddled in a blanket on the futon. He slept on the floor. The Christmas tree is behind them. "Mei, do you regret it?" Yamato asks. Not a light hearted face. "Something ... too much..." He asks again,."Why regret what..." "I don...I don't know..." He hugs her, still wrapped in her blanket. "Am I strange? My condition...." "It was your first time so...." Imagined picture of Yamato and... not his first time. "Even more... I came to love you." "Is it no use?" "No..." Marshmallow climbs onto the bed. "Nya..." "Marshmallow..." Kuro stays in the cat bed. "Toilet?" They walk toward her house. Today was Mei's birthday and things happened beyond your expectations but we spent happy time together." Last year she had a high fever, was bad. Last year was different. He asks if she is OK go to the rest of the way on her own. Mei goes home, sees Mom. Has a bath. Texts Yamato, wants to meet him. She talks with the girls about... it,.girl talk. They all get together... --- More later, it is 3am, go to bed, jeez... |

| I found it refreshing again how this manga handles things realistically. Mei has stayed in character throughout, her reactions, her feelings. I am so impatient I ordered Dessert magazine! Can't wait! |

| I'm glad that Mei got herself past Aiko and Yamato's history, becoming closer to Aiko in the end. Also, I'm liking this development between Kai and Megumi very very very much. Love how the chapter wrapped up on a nice, tidy note with everyone together looking so happy (: |

| I thought Yamato should have walked with her all the way home, including the train ride, but I'm willing to give him a pass if it was getting close to when they shut the trains down or he had to take care of his sister. I hope this doesn't change things too much in their relationship other than deepening it. |

| I don't wish Megumi happiness. Kai deserves better. Proud of Aiko. I like the series, but it's been dragging out for so long. It really shouldn't be another eight volumes. It's tiring, but I don't want to drop it. It's starting to feel like a chore at times. EDIT: |
