Aoi signed as she turned the corner into Michigan Street, looking behind her to make sure she wasn't being followed. Good, it seemed she had lost them. This was getting out of hand. Every since they had arrived in America for this business trip, 'father' had increased the number of bodyguards from 1 to 4. He payed too much attention to the news. It's not like everyone in America was a gun-tooting psycho. Not anymore, at least. Besides, Human thugs didn't scare her. She had seen and fought things far worst. The girl known as Aoi Oomori was just the latest in a long line of lives, spread out over the course of history. Reaching into the right pocket of her dark red fleece, she pulls out a pack of cigarettes, pulling one out with her mouth and lighting up.

"Just a city boy, born and raised in south Detroit... took the midnight train going anywhere" murmured Jovan Constatine listening to his iPod walking Michigan Avenue. The song made him smirk as he thought about the fact that he'd never been 'born' before in Detroit... during one of his lives where he fought and died in Vietnam back in the 70s he was born in Lansing. It was close but not close enough. It was a cold wintery day, there was no snowfall but the cool breeze coming off Lake Michigan forced him to bundle up his black trade-mark scarf more. In all his life times he always had something like it around his neck; Sumeria, Persia, Rome, England, Spain, you name it! He'd always worn something like it. But it wasn't for the 'fashion statement' that made him wear, but rather it was done out of self preservation. An enemy may be able to 'sense' one such as himself, but most couldn't pinpoint his location in a crowd... thus why he wore the scarf. To hide the collar, a stigma if you will... to hide the fact that he was a Fallen Angel.

Aoi walked through the crowds that bustled along Michigan Street, stopping every so often to look through a shop window without ever actually stepping inside. She took a puff on her cigarette, the smoke accompanied by the mist of her own breath. The wind had begun the pick up, and bring the cold with it. Her long white hair swayed in the wind, causing the numerous white and red bows that adorned it to flutter alongside. She tightened her scarf and rubbed her gloved hands together in an effort to keep them warm. It helped a little, but not much. Maybe she should find a cafe and get some hot drink? Unlike Japan, America didn't sell these things in vending machines. With that thought in mind, Aoi continued to walk down the street, entering a small establishment she happened to pass by. She had been forced to abandon her cigarette, as the place had a 'No Smoking' sign snickered to the door. She ordered a coffee and sat down, looking out the window absentmindedly as she drank.

Jovan still listening to his iPod and murmuring "Strangers waiting, up and down the boulevard..." as he entered one of his favorite coffee shops, being born in Chicago has its perks... you get to know the area pretty quick. He orders a coffee, a hazelnut frappe and heads for his favorite table. Along the way he accidentally bumps into a young Asian woman whose cascading white hair shimmered across her shoulders and back. Jovan whose scarf shifted slightly revealing his pale and aged golden 'collar' in the minor collision muttered a word of apology as he started walking again...

Aoi had finished her coffee, leaving the empty cup on the table for one of the waitress, standing up from her seat and making her way to the entrance. As she did so, a tall black haired man bumped into her. He apologized immediately after, before walking towards on of the empty tables. Normally, she would have paid it no attention. It was obvious how crowded this place was, so bumping into someone by accident wouldn't be uncommon. But this time it was different. During the brief exchange, she had caught a glimpse of what was under his scarf. A paled gold collar. It could have just been some sort of fashion statement, but Aoi knew otherwise. For she boar the same shackle. Meeting another like her was a rarity. Instead of leaving, she sat back down and ordered another coffee.

Amongst the crowds, Youka stood still and stared up at the sky.The cold weather didn't really bother her, but it was still cold enough to make her insert her hands inside the pockets of her long and simple royal-blue coat. There wasn't anything unusual or special up the sky, but Youka stared up anyway, lost in thoughts. She wasn't thinking about anything serious, it's just that she knows almost nothing about this city, because it's her first time coming to Chicago, so she was wondering about what and where to go next. "usually, the best choice right now is to ask about directions and such, but I guess roaming around like this isn't bad either" Youka thought as a tiny smile appeared on her face.

The lights~ The colors~ The....lack of action? Minna sighs as she shuffles along with the crowd of humans all hoping to somehow get somewhere faster than everyone else. Her? She was content with taking her time. Not like she was gonna die any second or anything, being a fallen and all. She seemed tired, probably due to not sleeping well. It happened often considering sleeping wasn't a very good option. If she didn't need sleep, then she wouldn't do it. Lousy human body... It was during this thought process that she spies a coffee shop. Needing a quick boost, she enters the building, leaving her hat on and ordering a drink practically drowned with sugar and whipped topping. "Thank you and have a nice day~" The clerk said to her while handing her the coffee. She responds with a tired nod and accepts the liquid energy before heading to a booth seat; passing by some guy with an ipod and a golden collar of some- Golden collar!? Minna grins to herself but manages to hide it as she waltzes passed him and sits directly behind him with her own back turned. She had coffee to drink and other fallen were usually either a bleeding heart or a sac of depression so she didn't feel like letting herself be known. One sip. One sip is all it took to kick Minna back to her usual energetic mood. It is here that she lets her mind wander...wander right into her past as one of the virtues. Her wings, her poor wings, and her cherished bow, given to her by one of the first sphere. Once mighty, but now only her wings remained, tattered and broken as they are. She can no longer use any form of ranged weapon at all, a curse imparted to her as punishment. Her energy levels drop steadily before she thinks about something else entirely...

A Stranger entered the coffee shop, his black hood was up and he wore dark red aviator sunglasses that completely hid his eyes... He shuffled clumsily over to Jovan's table sat down in front of him. Jovan noticing this and the stranger's distinct scent made that made him pause his music and remove his earbuds and look at the stranger properly and to really notice his stench. The Stranger smelled like something only those who've smelled it way too many times before on battle field. It was the stench of rot, putrification, and overall death. The Stranger looked up at Jovan and made a slow 'buzzing' not unlike a fly's sound, to which Jovan narrowed his eyes saying "Beelzebub" as an accusation rather than a question... The Stranger shook his head and lowered his sunglasses slightly, revealing instead of traditional human eyes but large red compound fly eyes. The Demon Possession said "No *buzz* only one of his Minions serving *buzz* as his mouthpiece in a *buzz* meat suit..."

After gazing at the sky for a few minutes, Youka finally decided to start walking forward, as she notice that it's too awkward for her to keep staring up and standing still within the constantly moving crowds. While walking, some words spoken by a couple of humans caught her ears. They said something about a coffee shop selling sweet and warm hot chocolate. Youka just couldn't help but wanting to go to that coffee shop, as she always loved sweet food and drinks. Luckily for her, she didn't even need to ask about the location, because the coffee shop they talked about were right infront her, just a minute away. Youka couldn't help but slightly smile as she went in the shop. She glances around looking for a place to settle at, then saw a small empty table in sight, sat down, and ordered the hot chocolate from a waiter who came to her almost immediately. Not long after, the waiter came back with the hot chocolate she wished. Yet again, she couldn't help but smile as she drank the hot chocolate that indeed turned out to be as great as she heard. But while drinking, something surprised her so much that she almost spat out her drink, what surprised her was seeing three "golden collars" in this very same shop. "th-three..." Youka mumbled as she couldn't believe her eyes, because even though she knew that seeing a fellow fallen is rare yet not impossible, it still felt too...amazing to her, seeing three of her kind at once. And how did she know that the man with the scarf is a fallen? It was was because she happened to have a glimpse of his collar when he adjusted his scarf. It was a brief, but she was still able to notice somehow.

Minna caught the scent of death and held her nose. Fortunately the demon hadn't noticed her at all. How convenient~ However, it would be stupid to cause a ruckus here and now. She would need to wait a little bit. Perhaps it had something interesting to say?

While she was still shifting her glances between the three golden collared people, she smelt a familiar stench. The scent made her eyes and ears focus at the table where the scarfed man and the hooded one was at, eavesdropping wasn't something she would usually do but such a thing could not be ingnored. "it's dangerous if it noticed me and decided to pick up a fight in such a place, the humans in this shop would be really in danger... And what about that scarfed one? If he's really a fallen one like me I hope that he won't end up fighting him here" Youka thought as she kept sipping on her hot chocolate, and also tried her best to hear what are they saying, as the noise coming from the crowds and such made it difficult to hear

Jovan's hand slid under the table... he considered activating his Midas Halo, but the minion then said icily"Hold it Aureorum Qui Pugnis if you 'kill' me, then..." he opned his hoodie little revealing his decayed and dessicated flesh which was covered with cockroaches, flies, maggots, slugs, and other vermin best left untouched and unknown. But nestled amongst this filth, was what resembled a bomb wired directly to the Minion's Host's still beating heart. Jovan's eyes narrowed and he revelaed his hands again on the table as the Minion zipped his hoodie back up. Jovan was certain of 3 things: 1.) Beelzebub and his Minions knew of his latest reincarnartion, 2.) That bomb could take out half the block if he detonated it and 3.) Beelzebub wanted to him to hear this Minion's message pretty bad if he went this far to get his attention. Beelzebub and Jovan went WAAAAY, back they served together under same Dominion back in Limbo before Lucifer's betrayal. Beelzebub went to Hell with his Master while Jovan went to Earth... and ever since then Beelzebub always had it in for Jovan somehow. "So" said Jovan "Why the desperate theatrics? What does Beelzebub want from me?" Jovan's gaze skated around the shop looking for something... he could sense the presenses of 3 other Fallen, though he couldn't pinpoint exactly where they were. He made eye contact with the white haired asian girl from earlier, he adjusted his scarf so his Halo was almost fully exposed... he hoped she would show her's as well so that he could make a plan of some sort.

Aoi slowly sips her cup of coffee, taking her time as the events play out before her. She would never had imagined meeting three others like her in a place like this. It was interesting, but even more so were the questions that had popped into her mind. Who where they? Which Sphere did they belong to? Why were they exiled from from Heaven But it was the fourth person that had piqued her suspicions. From the moment he had entered the Cafe and sat down, Longinus had begun to pulse slightly around her neck. It was reacting to the unnatural aura that hung around the person. And it was obvious he was no Angel. Suddenly, the black haired man looked at her, lowering his scarf to reveal a golden collar. Something had happened during the brief exchange that had occurred between him and the unnatural one. Something was wrong. Aoi hesitates for a split second, before lowering her own scarf. Underneath was a matching, rusted collar.

Jovan narrows his eyes again, and tilts his head slightly towards the Minion in front of him and looks back at her... The Minion the said "LORD Beelzebub wishes to re-offer an invitation... he claims this is the last time he's offering you to join his Legion in Hell" Jovan rolls his eyes and says "As I said the last few thousand times just before ripped his head off his shoulders: Not Interested." "Lord Beelzebub urges you to reconsider... things are about to change" said the Minion

It took a few seconds before out got the message he was trying to convey. At first, she thought he meant something along the lines of 'run him through'. But she soon realized that, no, that would be stupid. When she finally got his intention, she shuffled along her seat, so casual that no one would notice. If he was willing to ask for assistance, then something but be going on. Now slightly closer, she listened in on their conversation. Beelzebub? Whats does that bastard what with him?

"What do you mean by 'changes' worm? Its not like Beelzebub to be this cagey with me, he's normally very straight forward with me: join me or die! (quote fingers)" said Jovan getting annoyed The Minion buzzed angrily saying "I'm a FLY not a WORM *buzz* and this conversation is over... Lord Beelzebub said if I could not persuade you, then I was to kill you" and with that he whipped out a large knife and yelled"Hail Lord Beelzebub!" and he stabbed himself in the heart getting everyone's attention in the room! Jovan's only thought and word was "The Bomb!" he reached forward with his fist turning into a golden gauntlet... Midas

Minna turns suddenly and grabs Jovan's shoulder, muttering "Don't bother." With a sudden shout, words of power flew from her mouth. Words that only a virtue would know...words meaning 'shield the innocent.' The effect of which was immediate as her halo glowed. The ground itself came up and formed a protective dome around the demon to contain the explosion. Then she states more words...words meaning "sleep" and "memory", She was going to wipe the memory from every mortalwitness...however, this would leave her very tired. There went her morning boost. Frakking coffee.

A rare day indeed this was, a rendezvous with a Minion and 4 Fallen in the same city let alone the same establisment!Speaking of which... where was the fourth one in the room? Nothing to make them suspiscious. Besides, they have something I want..." At that she got up and walked over to some of the mortal customers, kneeling down and pulling out their wallets. | "Pleiads" As soon as Youka saw the minion's attempt to cause a chaos in the place, she stood up summoning her chain. She was going to attack, but she stopped almost immediately when she heard the familiar words of a fellow fallen angel. Seeing that the other fallen's powers had done the job already, she hid her hand with the chain in her coat's pokect. Youka stared at the girl who casted the spells stealing for a moment, she would usually at less comment on that but she didn't because she was putting her mind on something else. She sighed, and walked over to the scarfed man, her lips seemed like they were mummbling something. "...sorry..." She knew that her tone and voice were too low and unclear, so she took a deep breath and spoke with a clearer voice "I am really sorry that I didn't react faster..." She said while looking down |

She felt emmbaressed that such a thing as not being able to hear was something in her way, and she thought that how foolish of her not even trying to at less get closer to hear better, so that she would have reacted faster. Youka shock her head to get all those negative thoughts out, as it would effect her performance with her Pleiades if any other demons decided to attack again. |

Antonio strode down the streets of Michigan Avenue. As he waded his way through the crowds, he bumped into a woman. "Hey! Watch where you're going?" she yelled at him. Antonio merely ignored her and kept moving but, before he could get very far, he was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. "Hey! My girl's taking to you! Look her in the eyes and apologize!" a man, clearly her boyfriend or husband, yelled. Antonio turned and asked nonchalantly: "Why?" "'Why?' Because it's common courtesy!" The woman replied, clearly annoyed. "If it was common courtesy, you should have done it by now," Antonio replied coolly as he turned to go once more. Once more he was stopped by a hand on his shoulder. "Don't you go talking to my girl that way! Apologize. Now." the man said. The woman was giving Antonio an angry glare. Antonio sighed. Admittedly, he was peeved being in such a large city surrounded by idiots like him. He'd much rather be in the peace and calm wilderness or tending to crops but, a job was a job and he was getting paid to do it. "First of all, women are not possessions therefore she cannot be 'your' girl. Secondly, get your hand off me right now or you're going to regret it," he said coolly. The man was slightly taken aback by his first statement but he managed a meek laughed. "And what are you gonna-" Antonio whipped around, grabbing the man's hand and twisting it while simultaneously popping him once straight on the chin. The man crumpled to the ground and the woman rushed to his side. Despite the minor scene he had just caused, the crowd simply ignored them; such was the sentiment of a large city. Antonio pulled up his sleeve and checked his wristwatch. "Such a waste of time..." he muttered. Thanks to those idiots he had nearly lost his target. He watched as his target slipped inside a nearby coffee shop a distance away. Antonio arrived at the coffee shop just in time to witness the aftermath of whatever had just happened. A small patch of scorched and bloody ground, people unconscious on the floor, and four fellow Fallen, one of them pick pocketing those who were unconscious- it was too much of a coincidence that they were all here at once. "So, would you all kindly tell me what the hell exactly went on here before I get the wrong idea?" he asked, pulling down his collar to show his Halo at the same time.

"A-Another one..." Youka mummbled as she saw an another fallen like her going in the shop. She then noticed that from how everything's looking like right now, he might got the wrong idea, a really wrong idea "it's not what it looks like! We could explain!" She shouted out as she ran and stood right infront of him "the blood on the ground is a demon's blood not a human, and..." She was going to explain further, but she then realized that she can't really explain the actions of the one pickpocketing, plus that she still doesn't exactly know the reason why Beelzebub's minion came here to see the scarfed one in the first place.

Aoi was thankful that the situation had resolved itself without becoming an major incident. As soon as she had received the signal from the black haired male, she had been ready to draw her spear and attack, but it seems that wasn't necessary. The quick thinking of her fellow Fallen had ended the threat before it could escalate. While she didn't approve of her stealing from civilians, she decided to let it go. What concerned her more was why the Minion had been here anyway. It obviously had something to do with the black haired man. "For some reason, a minion of Beelzebub had come to see him" she replied, nodding her head towards the black haired man.

| Antonio listened to the others as they attempted to explain the situation. "Beelzebub?" he asked, raising an eyebrow. Apparently the situation was a lot worse than he had originally thought, he hadn't heard that name in a long time. When the dark-haired man with the scarf told him to follow, he did. Information on a demon was valuable and even if he died, he wouldn't be gone for good; it was well worth the risk, besides, he could always pick up his money later. | She nodded an approvement to follow. Of course she knew it wasn't exactly a good idea to follow strangers just like this, but she thought that it would be important know even the slightest information to protect the humans, and even her other fellow fallen if ever necessary. Then again, the only thing considered important about her is that she's a fallen. Meaning that no demon would exactly as far as scheming to kill her, they would usually fight her straightforwardly....most of the time |

Jovan entered the apartment building and half turned behind him to see who was still coming with him... to his shock he saw that everyone came! He didn't know if it was out of trust, fear, hate, or justice that drove them to follow him nor did he especially care. It was just that there was a comforting feeling that he had long forgotten emanating from the comraderie amongst Angels. Jovan turned to the doorman, Jeb, and said "These guys are with me..." and then went for the elevator, and held open as the group of five (including himself) filed in and went up to the ninth floor to his corner apartment. When they entered the apartment Jovan said "Mind the salt line please..." and indeed there was one at the base of the door and if one were to look around the apartment they'd find that every crack, vent, or window base had a salt line on it. If that wasn't paranoid or weird enough, every wall had a cross hanging from it! Jovan most definitely did like having unwelcomed guests of the Demonic kind...

Antonio largely ignored the doorman striding past him into the elevator. When they finally got to the room, he noticed the sheer amount of anti-demon precautions. He was surprised the man was so paranoid. Even if those little things prevented the minor demons from snooping around, it wouldn't keep out a real demon if they really tried. He leaned up against one of the walls with his arms crossed and listened to what the man had to say and, to say the least, he came off as a bit surprised. Antonio raised an eyebrow. "So that's your connection, huh," he said coolly, it was more of a statement than a question. "Second Sphere Angel of Virtue, מי שמביא קרח, ille qui profert glacies, He Who Brings Ice, or Antonio Morales, whichever one you prefer. I created Siberia. Pleased to meetcha."

"Beelzebub, Mephistopheles, and even Lucifer... guess that explains an important part of the riddle. And Siberia? That doesn't sound less shocking either" Her eyes widened at the surprises from Jovan and Antonio as she thought about it. After Youka listened to every introduction, she stepped forward to introduce herself and slightly bowed her head "I am quae saltat super rosarum, she who dances upon roses, and my human name, the name I hold now is Youka Tsukishima. Second Sphere Angel Virtue"
"Hateful feelings. Hurtful feelings. Unforgivable feelings. To face one's own feelings is akin to throwing oneself into a bottomless pit, or setting sail on an endless sea. You must not look there. You must not think about it. Though you search your soul on the dark, heaving waves, you must never look in that place." - Kusuriuri |

Aoi was surprised to say the least when she entered the apartment. Every possible entrance to the room was marked with a fine line of salt, and every wall bore a cross. While she knew the dangers faced by Fallen Angels, she had to admit she though he had gone overboard slightly. She was even more surprised when he introduced himself, saying his Angel Name and Rank. She recognized them instantly. She had fought alongside him multiple times when she was an Angel. As for the others, it seemed they belonged to other Ranks. She could remember some details but not much. When the others were done, she decided she should introduce herself as well. "Qui fragmina Omnes Autem Caro,הוא שמפלח את כל אלא בשר He Who Pieces All But Flesh. I currently go by the name of Aoi Oomori. I was a member of the Second Sphere Power"

Jovan nodded has he heard each and every person's name... but he noticed the one from earlier to who contained the bomb and put all the humans to sleep was missing, he felt around in his pocket and realized he had a business card in there. The girl must've planted it! But it didn't matter... they'd meet again soon enough. Jovan the said "Its a pleasure to meet you all... I haven't had contact with any other Fallen since Desert Storm, and the other Fallen in question was shooting an RPG at me in my helicopter so I guess it really didn't count" he grinned. He noticed everyone appraising his overzelous protection, so he had to say "Believe me its not that I'm paranoid... its just that I've never lived longer 26 years at a time. Its a wish of mine to break that record" "Anyway... I'm sure you all have questions, so lay them on me" said Jovan

Antonio raised an eyebrow once more. Twenty-six? It doesn't seem like he's very lucky then. Most of my lives I've lived past fifty. He cleared his throat and was the first to speak up. "Alright, well let me get straight to the point then: What do the demons want? Why? What does it have to do with us? And what are we going to do about it?"

"Demons want what they always want: mutilating humans, creating more Demons, destroying the world, and killing Fallen and traditional Angels in very gruesome ways..." said Jovan dryly as if it was obvious "...But what Beel's Minion said still disturbs me slightly, 'things are changing'... Beelzebub always talked about nothing EVER changes and how everything is a cycle... change is something he's never said possible..." said Jovan more to himself then anything else. "So" he said decidely "I'm going to have a chat with him"

"For a demon to change his motto like this, it must be big" She rubbed her chin while looking at an empty space "It's seems like the question now is if this change Beelzebub mentioned is for our or their advantage...." Youka said with an expression indicating that she's deep in thought "...or neither...?"

"Indeed, Beel wouldn't change his motto lightly... we were Powers of the Second Sphere, we stuck by our words and codes" said Jovan musing to himself "But you do raise a good point, what does his 'change' entail" said Jovan now look at her directly. "I'm going to have to go Limbo... now" he strode past her and went towards one of the shelves in the living room and grabbed a can of spray paint that looked like he took apart and refilled with something else along with a rolled up template. He took th template and stuck it on a window saying half to himself and towards the group "I can't wait til tonight, Beel may have set up a trap... I need to open a mini Hellgate..."

Aoi decided to remain quite, listening to the man's explanations and the comments of the others. It was both interesting and surprising, especially the revelations regarding Beelzebub. While she wouldn't exactly call them comrades, she had fought alongside him before the rebellion. Enough to get a grasp on his personality. Then the man announced he would be going to Limbo.

"You're gonna have a chat. With an Archdemon of Hell," Antonio said, chuckling slightly as Jovan rummaged through his things. "I can't even begin to tell you how stupid that sounds. But-" A small throwing dagger made of ice appeared in his hand. He played with the tip a bit and began to toss it up and down. "If it means that I can get some free demon blood, I'm in. You'd be surprised at how much a single milliliter of the stuff can fetch from the right customer. Once you're going to activate the gate, all the Fallen close by will probably sense it and come running. We should prepare for some more company." (Hint hint, everyone)
