| TIL woman can fake pregnancy... pretty nice episode I for one thought she would have a change of heart again but well seems she made up her choice! Well let's see what will happen next! |

 By the way she the anime treated the scenario at first, I thought the pregnancy was actually real. I was freaking out because I had no recollection of Sae ever having sex with Ryo, much less why he wasn't using protection if that were the case. No, even before that, the age gap doesn't work. Also, with Sae's history of screwing with people, I figured this was a ploy to break up Ryo and Misao like she's been doing with Momo. Of course, coincidentally Ryo gets thugs sicced the same time Sae and Ryo are having happy family talks or what have you. And of course, Sae calls Momo right as she's confronted by Touji and Kairi, stalling that plot point out for the rest of the episode. And, just to top this all off, Sae runs in the moment one of the thugs completely whiffs his kick and hits Sae square in her stomach. The fact that Sae somehow deluded herself to think she was pregnant apparently absolves her of any wrongdoings, as she apparently didn't do this intentionally. I didn't particularly hold anything against Ryo throughout all this, as I never believed this show could have actually pulled teen pregnancy, much less infanticide. Yes, his treatment of her was ridiculous, but that's an entirely different problem. I don't deny that such drama can make for interesting stories, especially since such intense drama is a tad foreign to anime, but not like this. Peach Girl has been disingenuous throughout its course, and it continues to do so. My goodness, I can't believe it's still not over yet. |

| Sae is made up of lies from head to toe that her body lied even to her. Maybe this is where she really learns her lesson. Maybe Ryo too will learn his lesson. He got an emotional blow he didn't expect. I know for a second there he imagined a happy future with a happy family with Sae. |
