| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Got Bunch magazine last week with chapter 60. Intense! A triple cross from Date san and then the chopper comes! If anyone is actually bothering to read my summaries, let me know and I"ll post one, otherwise I will save my time. |

| Glad to know some are reading... Bunch April, chapter sixty: Ryota says, "Look alive, people! Date-san took off!" "Waaa!! The chips!?" "Gone!! Must have picked up the bag we put them too... Th, that bastard!!!!" yells Ryota. "Hahahahaha, those fools!!" cackles Date-san, running with the bag of chips. "Collected these from the hands of the contestants we fought together!? Fools!! To win I don't need any excuses!! If I escape alone I will be home free, hahahaha!" Takanohashi is watching Date running on the Tyrannos monitors. His companion says, "After all..." and Takanohashi says, "Just the liar eh, that Date guy..." TBC |

Fast version so you aren't left hanging, Date leaves a note for Ryota saying he is with them. The helicopter comes to pick up the winner, Date, and Ryota and team attack with their modified BIMs which Tyrannos cannot disable.. Details to come... |

Ahh, very good point i forgot. I'm half wondering if in the future of the series a power struggle within the actual Tyrannos company is actually going to allow Ryota&hHimiko to escape safely. |

They're throwing de-safetied BIMs at Tyrannos personnel by the choppers at the end of the chapter. Will have to wait for 61 to see whether they can jack a chopper successfully or not. |

"It looks like they're standing around making plans using written communication but it doesn't look like there is a relationship any more," he continues watching them. Other Tyrranos guy saying, "Even so... At last we're getting started, eh... It's heating up." Takanohashi says, "Money is moving in national budgets. My heart is dancing." "The common people will choose more shit, watch lawful death matches... higher profits and dividends, isn't this great... there's no limit to the amount of shit in this world, business will continue as usual." A director says, "There is a chip complete request from Player number 23, Date Masahiko." Takanohashi says, "Get me a connection." Date says, "This is Date, can you hear me? I've completed it. Can you come get me soon?" Takanohashi says, "Roger roger, great... Wow, you are number one at clearing it." Date says, "Is that so. Where will the helicopter come down?" Takanohashi says, "Hang on a sec... Meet at the beach in 4 hours." "Understood." Crewman says, "Damn that's going to be late." Takanohashi says, "Announce it at 9pm, put it on at 11pm. Let's go! I don't know, Sakamoto might show up yet! It's going to be a pretty thrilling live rescue drama broadcast!" The chopper takes off. Date writes a note and clandestinely stuffs it into the open end of a railing.Ryota, Himiko, Hidemi and the nurse go there, Ryota gets the note. Chicken scratch Japanese, my favorite! "As planned I made the clear request, chopper will be here in 4 hours. Here we'll do a group attack. Helicopter will be here at 11pm. We have a small amount of time to face it and carry out the plan." They discuss him keeping his promise on their cell phones. Ryota says he has to keep his promise! Flashback to them making the plan, Date saying they can trust him, Hidemi still asking Ryota if he trusts him. Says he'll ask the nurse. Then oddly he speaks, says "Date called the helicopter, going to be at a nearby beach." --- Still more TBC... |
| Announcer in front of a Themis sign. "Today is a busy work day. Our sincere thanks for joining us for this new announcement. We at Themis Corporation are a powerful business in the world...." Themis sends out broadcast, internet, 18 countries, 23 languages simultaneously, quite abridged. Ryota's dad in hospital, his mom in bed. Phone calls, nurse says you can't take the call him here. Call says look at the TV, Ryota is on, doing real BTOOOM! Showing his past battles. He asks on the phone if it is a computer game. Answer comes back, no, it is real deathmatch. His son could really die! The list of people to make disappear is mentioned, his son nominated. Now he realizes why his wife, Ryota's Mom, tried to kill herself. Sorry, made the above short, there is much more, may do more another day... Back to the choppers. Takanohashi saying you can watch the replays later everyone. He has 8 chips now, first clearance. Showing Date, showing Ryota, BTOOOM! world ranker. Choppers coming in. Oda noting that it is Ryota's chosen path.... Choppers land. Guys in black with submachineguns... not exactly a rescue! Guys in black calling out to Date. All are there. Ryota pings his radar to signal the start. They throw BIMs, techs try to shut them off but doesn't work. None at Tyrannos know what is going on but our friend Iida sempai... |

| Themis seems to be a much bigger enemy than Tyrannos. If they get off the island I can see the possibility of an even bigger story development coming, just a guess on my part. Seems most people think they can't possibly be watching real snuff material. Interesting that Takanohashi is onto them but still didn't know about their modified BIMs. Hate Date san if you like but they need his help, and Iida sempai. |

| Wow, Date was actually 'acting' as if he was betraying them to deceive everyone else. It was all part of the plan, way to go Ryouta and Date! So Ryouta's step-father now knows that Ryouta is in a fight-to-the-death kind of reality game. Iida is such a great guy, helping Ryouta on the inside. :) This was a really intense chapter, absolutely loved it. 5/5 |
