Well thanks to Xinil ult. admin powers i got some of my own
but it doesnt mean im not going to be needing some help. im gonna send out and email about the revival of the club and a few officers wouldnt hurt. Also :

--any ideas about how to imrove the club?
-- does anyone want a new club banner/ public pic/member bar?
--should i delete some of the old pics to make room for new ones?

any ideas are welcome and should go in this thread so i can keep track of them

I don't know how many people in the club write fanfics or draw fanart, but maybe a contest or a series of writing/art challenges would be fun.

Maybe a combo of both. Like issue a series of challenges and then the judge(s) issue points based on the quality of the story or artwork; then we add up the points after a specific amount of time to decide the winner (that way people can choose to do all of the challenges quickly or a few of them really well), maybe with also recognition for the best fic and art, and maybe for fics that weave the challenges into one continuous piece.

the only problem id foresee is forgery xP
id feel bad if someone was getting credit for anothers work

Club display compition the one aya made is nice but its time for something new..

I don't think you could forge fiction very easily - I still think that is a perfectly admissable idea and a good way of brinigng activity to the club. Just a suggestion.

not so much the fanfic but more so the fanart. Since im an artist id feel horrbile if someone was taking credit for someones elses hard work.

but im willing to try it if people are behind it. i'll think up some rules to prevent mishap AMAP

I know, I was just pointing out that this option was still there. On the fanart front, I am clueless - I've avoided drawing anything for the last few years, so I can't help there. However, I'd be happy to help administrate if you require anything.

I suppose, on the art side, if the challenges were specific enough in what had to be involved it would be difficult for someone to go out and just find something that fit.

youd be suprised... but i came up w/ an idea
SHOW THE PROCESS :3 just ask to put up 1or 2 before sketches of
the finished product that way fanart can credited to the right person
