How much of the content is true with respect to the manga?

I haven't watched the original ZKC series and watched this so-called spin-off first. But I have to say that it blowed me away and the plot seems to be pointing heavily for a season 2. Also as seen by me at many places, people are saying that this suits the manga more aptly. However, I also wanna know the full story, so can anyone tell me that how much information shown in this anime remains true to the content of the manga? And if I want to continue after this from which chapter should I start reading the manga?

I've only read a few chapters of the manga so I'm probably not the best person to answer this, but I'll give my opinion anyway.

I hear that the ZKC manga becomes more serious (so a bit more like this series) later on, but, obviously, as Unlimited follows Hyoubu, I don't think it's all that close to the story in the manga. They respect the characters' personnalities and backstories just fine, but Andy Hinomiya and Yuugiri are anime-only characters, and they're really important in this. I mean, after Hyoubu, it's Hinomiya who's the main character really. So the story is probably almost entirely unrelated to the original manga.

So if you want something similar, I don't think either the ZKC anime nor the original manga will be satisfying, and there probably isn't a chapter in the manga that would be a good follow-up to this great spin-off.

Also, it didn't really seem to me like they wanted to make a 2nd season (sadly).

But I really think that this anime can manage a second season if the sales are good enough. because many anime in the past have managed to do so. take for example, the To Aru Kagaku no Railgun series(ok, maybe it doesn't have new characters), but still I think that if done properly, this anime can manage a wonderful second season, because it would be quite difficult to continue the main series(in terms of adaptation). And the animators don't have to worry about that in this case.

Also I have asked many people around, and all have said that the this spin-off can manage to be better than the original(as it isn't bound).
