| Great chapter. Nice to see that her step-mother isn't okay with this status quo and wants Mao to return. Even if her father is too paralysed, it's nice seeing that her step-mother is actually trying something. |

| Mao's step mom is actually decent and wants her back. I sympathize with Mao a lot, she really doesn't want to be pitied or to burden Hiro, but she cant see that he doesn't see her as such and he likes living with her. In any case, I agree with Hiro that Mao needs to return to her home once she comes to terms with her feelings and somehow confronts her father. This would be important for her no matter what happens later with Hiro and whatnot. |
