| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well, it was a decent series at most. I was expecting a lot more from a story written by Tanaka Yoshiki and directed by Dezaki Osamu. Anyway, it was entertaining especially from halfway through after the episodic and quite boring start. I wish we knew what happened to Lady L. I guess she is dead but we can't really know for sure if it's about that woman. The series made me interested in the novels though. I wish I could find an english translation of it. The source material always better. |

| ^ I couldn't agree more with this and that. So Matsuri is the wife of that king the Dragon Kings were serving? How about those spirit things? Then there's that skullhead serpent guy masquerading as Shiyu, he could be the same one appearing behind the curtain in the Four Sisters headquarters. Ah lots of other questions. I don't have the time to read the novels, and it's still currently publishing still. >_< After re-watching this I'm downgrading my rating to 7 from 8. Man, I'm getting old. LOL |

| Sorry but that was bad. This series had some great ideas but was mediocre in every aspect of it's execution. Animation was wonky throughout, soundtrack uninspired, story needlessly long and often going places that made little sense. Characters were mostly 1 dimensional. To top it off it pulls a semi 'it was all a dream' ending. I think the first 4 episodes or so were okay, but once Lady L came along it went somewhere that just wasn't that interesting. I thought before that they were going to goto china and seek out their roots but instead it all became this weird game of cat and mouse with little to no point to any of it. |
| The ending was not "everything is a dream" and it all never happened. Remember the modern timeline brothers have been seeing (unlocking) partial visions of their past selves in their sleep, (in fact it was Amaru first as he started to unlock his dragon powers) While the last episode here it shows, the past timeline brother (Amaru, him first is no coincidence here) got to see the full vision of their future selves in his sleep (aka the whole anime up to episode 12, and therefore it was a very long and fun dream). Everything that happened WAS REAL. The adventure continues for modern brothers to fight against the past evil that came back and 4 sisters, but I think this is a good point to stop the anime AS THE WORLD BASICALLY LEARNED ITS LESSON You don't mess with the dragon. 東方青龍 南方紅龍 西方白龍 北方黑龍 Anyways 10/10 |

| This episode is the most political yet. Yes, it's about the battle between the mythological creatures, but it also makes us think about the evil shadows behind our governments. Perhaps it might not be as good as the author's Legend of the Galatic Heroes, which I am yet to see, but this is still worth seeing. |
