Which method of reading do you prefer? Reading on an electronic screen or the printed text?

EDIT: (I forgot to put my two cents in)

Me, I like the physical printed book better. Although it's more economical and portable, my eyes get tired faster when I'm reading on an electronic screen. I also find it harder to concentrate on a novel in its ebook form. I actually had to print the English-translated Baccano! light novels so I can finish reading it. (TT^TT)

What about you guys?

IF YOU DON’T SHIP MY OTP, I SWEAR TO GOD I’ll be okay with that.
IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE STUFF THAT I LIKE, I’M GONNA respect the fact that you have your own taste.

Printed. I tend to read them faster for some reason and they are better.

Although a printed book have it's own atmosphere when you carry it and flip the pages.

I would go with an ereader, small and can carry it everywhere. ( iPad, Tap... )

Printed book! Only because if I read on a reader, I usually get distracted, because when I start reading, then I go the internet to check my email or do this or that. With a physical copy of a book, I enjoy it more as well.

Printed book. I like to make little notes on the side, underline quotes and I love the smell of old pages :)

I really do prefer physical books; they make me feel nostalgic. The heft makes it more 'real,' and smell calm my nerves. I find I pay better attention a physical book, and read for longer periods of time comfortably. Due to space limitations, and amazon's kindle unlimited program, I do find myself having to acquire more and more digital copies. However, when studying/doing research (graduate student), I find that combining the audiobook and the text increases my retention and depth of understanding markedly. As to what I prefer when doing the audiobook thing, I think digital and physical have their own strongpoints and drawbacks.

Good question!
