| Hey chill ownage21. So wolfsrain246 messed up on a few points and misspelled a few things. No one's perfect right? =P The cartoon network version is fine. It's what I watch and I love it. It might leave out a few minor details that the uncut version or whatever has but nothing that's really important. Wolfsrain246 just got a little confused. Anyway, my votes on Naruto. He's got the determination to win and I don't think he'll give up for anything. I mean, look at his fight against Neji during the Chunin exam. He sure as hell didn't give up then. Besides, Sasuke's his number one rival and he def. does not want to lose to him. Ever since Team 7 was formed, all he's wanted to do is beat Sasuke. |

| Err... Guys, you seem to be forgetting the thing between the biju and the sharingan. The nine-tailed fox appears to be familiar with the Uchiha clan and even concedes that the chakra of Sasuke and Madara are darker than its own. If the most powerful of the tailed beasts has reason to be concerned, I don't think any member of the Uchiha clan should be taken so lightly, emo issues or none. |
| I'm still sticking by my argument. Naruto is the main character, and therefore beats everybody. Unless the show takes the 'die to save emo brat' route. Which I doubt. The show isn't dark enough for that. |

| Naruto Why you ask? Reason one, very rarely will a title character be killed off permanently. Reason two, if it gets to where Naruto and Sasuke do meet up in battle, it'll probably on Konoha ground (I think it'll be a three way fight between Akatsuki, Konoha, and Sasuke's marry little band of men and women with Konoha as the prize). If that is so, Naruto and the other ninja of Konoha have the added advantage of it being their home turf. While Sasuke is from Konoha, and for that matter so is Itachi, there will have been changes in the landscape. Reason three, I know this is biased, but Naruto just kicks ass. While he is not my favorite Naruto character (Shikamaru will always hold that spot), he is not a traitor like Sasuke is. Sasuke has proven time and time again he's willing to do anything to get what he wants. While many of you see this as antihero traits, I see this as him becoming a villain. He's slowly heading on the track to become one of Naruto's greatest enemies. NOTE: I base my assumptions on what I have read of the manga, what I have watched of the anime, and the information found on Wikipedia. |

| Naruto. Since the whole anime/manga is about Naruto constantly trying to improve himself and become acknowledged as Konoha's strongest shinobi (ie. Kazegage). In Naruto's own words regarding Sasuke: "He wouldn't listen to me because I was too weak. He wouldn't acknowledge me because I was weaker than him." Naruto WILL become stronger than Sasuke. All this about Sasuke or Naruto dieing seems to be a bit exaggerated. Since in the starting episodes of the Shippuuden the ending theme had a manga where Naruto is older and shows them together once again as friends. We still have not seen any new skills that Naruto developed in his training with Jiriya. And to that guy who bashed the kid, come on man, some people here are probably just learning to read and write properly. Give them a break. And to everybody who watches dubbed anime, I strongly recommend trying out subs instead. Since the anime becomes americanized in the process of translation, since the American producers are idiots and think its the only way for it to be accepted completely in America. Cultural references are completely lost, and why not pick up a few scattered Japanese words. Think about this, how can a pun possibly be translated into English, unless the extremely unlikely possibility of the English translation being a pun meaning the same thing. I am an Otaku, and I have a problem. |

| renegade- i agree about the dubs and i hate them (but still watch them...) anyway naruto will win because he's the main character. and even though sasuke has extra power from the curse and all that, naruto did not fully tap into the power of the kyuubi in their fight in the original naruto series (around episode 130 or something i think?...) and he still fought on par with him. |

| I think they will both win, because i watched episode 40-41 today and in it Sai is not afriad of Naruto but is afriad of Sasuke, i don't know who will win but it will be close. |
| i read ahead in the manga and i won't tell any spoilers, but sasuke's really strong in shippuuden. naruto is too though with the nine tails and all but again- sasuke's really strong in shippuuden :/ |
