It's certainly a little boring at times, but I feel like the over all tone kind of makes up for it. I love movies with bands so this was right up my alley. |

| It's kind of astounding to see a high-budget, gorgeously animated 80's OVA about male singers use... female vocals. Or no vocals, in the case of Aikawa the idol. Of course we're not going to respect his "sellout" musicianship if all we see him do is dance without ever singing. :D And GASP's rock wasn't even hard for the time, unless we're to imagine that their actual sound is much different from the soundtrack played during their concerts. It was cool to see an androgynous 80's goth rock dude in anime. The villainous rival agent is a babe. |
